“In the Dark Ocean of Trees”

The mysterious daggers resonate at Kuniko's encounter with young army officer Kusanagi. Then suddenly, bomb-like objects shower down from the sky on Duomo. The Metal-age and the government begin their investigations to identify their unknown enemy, which they believe opened fire on them from the forbidden jungle of Ikebukuro.

It's only sick if one assume equal value to all of mankind. So it's a convenient way to introduce mystical powers and marking her as deviate. Thus making it really hard to like her.

I'm picking this series back up to tide me over between releases of Last Exile: Ginyoku no Fam. Really like stuff Range Murata does designs for. This looks like it has potential...
