Thanks to everyone who has taken my quiz. I hope you have enjoyed it. Hopefully it has encouraged a few of you to check out some classic anime you've been unaware of.

I reworded question #5 so that the answer would be more accurate.

I'm overall content with the quiz and the results I've been seeing - it was designed so the average CR user could get around 50% which is about what I'm seeing.

Ok, so quizilla seems to have changed it's format and no longer gives you an actual score anymore, just how you did in relation to everyone else and even that is wrong. It wasn't like that when I made this quiz. Once I get back stateside where I have a good internet connection I'll try to fix it or move it to a better place that will actually tell you how you did on the damned thing.

The results they do have seem to be off - I answered 50% and found that I did as well as 141% of the people who took it. the number of people who took is stuck at at 656, so the way they calculate your relative percentage is way off. That is not your overall percentage.

Here is a basic outline of the results:

Naruto - Novice - 30-50%

Haruhi - Veteran - 55-75%

Madarame - Hardcore - 80-95%

Gendo - Supreme Master of Anime - 100%

Hmm, i got a 85% on it... I must say it is a challenge as you go on..

Some things in it i think wouldnt be known by many people.

Like Father of Anime, Which i did know, but still i doubt many people knows him. so i would probably change that.

Most of it seems fair enough to at least kind of know if you are really into anime. A movie that i think really was awsome (especially in japan, too all ages) is Princess Mononoke.

Looking good overall though, might even be nice about saying something different for missing each answer.

Wow that test was pretty difficult! But the questions were very diverse which kept it interesting. I really had to think on a lot of them! Seems like I need to do some studying though. Good stuff Az.

errr... that was difficult... im really an anime newbie... (*sobs*)

I was targeting it so someone who just watched cartoon network anime could get about a 25%, a new fan could get about 50%, a dedicated fan could get about 75%, and you have to be pretty hardcore to get over that.

In all fairness, if they were different questions of that difficulty, I'd probably only get around a 75%. Interesting that even with using Wikipedia someone only got a 75%.

I'm thinking there is too much an emphasis on older anime, but I wanted to keep the range over everything. I also tried to keep unlicensed anime to a minimum but I did want to include a few titles.

I'm not so sure I like my Naruto question. It was meant more of a "do you know what Naruto is" type thing, but I think it may be worded poorly. I should probably mention Bleach, Death Note, and Haruhi in there somewhere as well. Pity 20 questions is the max.

Novice -- You're quite familiar with anime shown on TV, and you probably follow a few series like Naruto and Bleach on Youtube. You're new to the anime subculture and lack the experience of some of the people who have been in the scene for a while.

yeah i agree with what you wrote....i only knew the easy questions the rest i pretty much guessed my way there till i got to the end. lol nice test though.
