Big Bang is an all male R&B and Hip-Hop group under YG Entertainment. The group consists of 3 newcomers T.O.P, Seung Ri, and Dae Sung, and G.Dragon and Tae Yang, both of whom have done several collaborations with other YG Entertainment artists prior to debuting as part of Big Bang. Big Bang made its debut at the YG Family concert, held on August 19th at the Gymnastics Arena in Seoul Olympic Park. They are considered the new face of YG Family.

1.) G-Dragon
G-Dragon is the leader of YG band BIG BANG. He is a well established rapper in the company and has been part of YG since 1999.

Real Name: Kwon Ji Yong

Name Trivia: His birth name, Ji Yong, was just translated in english. Ji=G and Yong=Dragon. YONG literally means dragon in Korean.

2.) Tae Yang
Tae Yang is a vocalist for YG band BIG BANG. He is also a well established rapper in the company and has been part of YG for many years.

Name Trivia: Tae Yang was decided by Youngbae and Mr. YG. Tae Yang means sun in Korean.

4.) Seung Ri
Seung Ri is a vocalist and the youngest member of YG band BIG BANG. He is an enthusiastic dancer and considered to be one of the best in the group.

Name Trivia: Seung Ri was given to him by Mr. YG. It means "victory" in Korean.

Aww, it's really sad that you think of boy bands that way. But I guess everyone's entitled to their own opinion, right? I'll tell you my side, though.. Big Bang kind of gives "boy bands" a new image.. Unlike other boy bands, they have a different style.. they don't want people to judge them just by their looks. And to add to that, they produce their own songs. They don't just do what their label (YG Entertainment) tells them.

I have nothing to say to that.. Can we please not make this a Big Bang hate thread?
