I still have 2 and a half years to go... sigh... Well, much of my recent photography has been for graphics design projects, which isn't all that focused as photography, in itself. D:
Hey kimmy! Long time no hear! I just came back from Japan. Went to Osaka and Kyoto... woot. My DA has been neglected... haven't done much photography these days. Down with the flu? Dang... get well soon, 'kay?
Summer? Hmm... I'm not much of a beach boy, but I've been thinking of wanting to go to the beach... plus, my GF is inviting me to go with her family to HK. I simply couldn't refuse.
hullo Eds! *hugs* I've been good. Finals already?? Wow...The time is just flying away! How is school going? How is the choir going? Any plans for the summer? *more hugs* I've missed you too. =D
Kimmy... I miss thee. Haven't heard in you for a while, but how are you these days? Me.. same ole' exams and what not... I'm looking forward to summer in 2 weeks - but there's a huge hurdle called "finals" coming up... ack. D:
Kim! Long time no hear. Not much has changed, really... exams left and right... and oh, I just came from my Parent's 25th wedding anniversary. They made me MC. >:(
LOL That's funny!We are having yet another heavy dump of snow. But it's like that here in the winter. In fact, my van is stuck in a snow drift. I'll take my cold over your hot any day, though! Actually, it's not that cold..only about -10C.
Making your own fruitcake is hard work! (and expensive!) I wish you could get rid of some too. =) No one ever gives me fruitcake. Isn't that how it goes, tho'?
I'd be so willing to get rid of some of the fruit cake here... not that I hate it, it's just that it's too much... whoever thought that it was an "okay" gift must be insane... I'd understand it more if THEY made it, themselves...
I LOVE fruitcake. Can you slip me some thru the USB port? I'm okay. The house was really empty with the girls at Ians, and I was kind of mired in all the changes in the last year. Like you said, tho', it's all good! =)
Haha, it's all good, kim. I was a little worried about you last night, but hearing from you again, I'm guessing that you're feeling a little better, now? I hope you like fruit cake... because there's tons of it here at home... -_-;
LOL...I don't doubt it! I take it the paper can wait another day? so it is almost 10 AM on Boxing Day for you. Sounds like a good time to laze to me. Sorry about bailing on you last night...
Happy Christmas Kim. I've been busy just lazing around the house... this is a great season for me... hehe. I never thought I'd love loafing around more than anything else since entering med.
Hey there kimmy. Thanks for the support, I'm okay. I'm just a little flustered over some life issues, and I'm resorting to procrastinating instead of actually doing something about it... but I'm gonna have to work on it, sooner or later
It's been good. I had an amazing trip to Atlanta two weeks ago (prolly already told you), and am trying to plan one to Tahoe for the beginning of Dec, if I can get funding in place. Mostly, though it's the same old thing. =) What project?
Well... I'm catching up on my anime... practicing for a Badminton tournament tomorrow... and working on a design project. Basically, I've been pretty busy. what about you, kim? How's life been for you, these days?
LOL... We can't expect the whole world to speak english, now can we? I saw the photos...just 5 so far, right? They are, of course, great. How have you been otherwise?
Yup. I was just dumbstruck in awe... everything I hoped for and more... except the fact that they couldn't speak English for the life of them was rather surprising... I thought more people would be able to understand... D:
Hey kimmy. Yeah, I was in Japan, but I came back last Monday. I'm not sure who played the Liszt on my profile, but it most certainly isn't me. D: I'm still sorting the pictures... but I put some up on my DevArt. check it out.
Eds!! I thought you were supposed to be in Japan (?) for break. (who's playing the Liszt?) I love the photo. Very cool. BTW... have you reviewed Trinity Blood for the Oni?
LOL... now Eds! I know what you mean though. I have a few things to do (eep...Oni reviews come to mind) but I'm too hung up on next weeks trip to concentrate.
I noticed the new avi...definiltely a departure from your usual. It's still cute, but not quite so blue. I'm sure most people are wondering who the heck you are, and what's up with the hallowe'en costume!
It starts Nov. 1. My bro said we might leave on that day, so... wow! :O Ahehe, I'm testing the waters on trying a new avie for a change... D: So far, the reactions are rather... funny.
*blushes* oh... right. Canada. *coughs* ahem... how embarrassing. I've always wanted to go to Japan, and my brother kinda brought it up. I think he just wants me to be his personal translator/interpreter. -_-;
sweet... I'm so envious. Japan sounds amazing. I'm heading to Atlanta next week... my first big adventure. (I'm a real homebody... I've never really travelled before)
No... no time for new photos. But I'm kinda psyched because I think I'll be going to Japan this November for my semestral break. I'll be sure to take some good photos for you.
yup... I knew it wasn't forever when I accepted it. Our new director is good, and I'm looking forward to singing again, instead of trying to coax singing out of others. =) How have things been, otherwise? Any new photos?
how frustrating. I know how that feels, and I was working with more flexible schedules, and fewer members. Eventually my choir dwindled to 6 members. I was released as choir director this week... now I 'm just a regular member now.
Ack... I'm in a dead end, right now, with the choir. Because of the heap of requirements, it's very difficult getting the members (and even myself) free for any decent form of practice. D:
Sweet. Oh, guess what, I did pretty well on the exam. Hurray!:D It was funny, because I got a kid a while ago, around 8 years old. His heart rate was fast, at around 120 bpm... but I think it's because he was nervous.
*snort*... I'm good. Things are really going well. The divorce has only one hurdle left to be finalized and then I am FREEEEEE!! (I keep waiting for it to get hard, and to regret things...ain't happening!)
I'm off to see more kiddies in a physical examination thingy, tomorrow. D: Funny how you come to mind whenever things like this pop up. How are you doing, these days?
I never thought I'd be throwing out the invites to the oni like this. I kinda miss steffi... and your GB's. *hugs* Hmm... as for my life, it's been getting more and more hectic... we're into organ pathologies, now. D:
Umm... it was a she. She got pregnant... decided to take medications to abort the fetus... ended up causing bacterial invasion and infection in her uterus ~ ended up causing a lot of problems which lead to blood loss, etc...
The internship will be in my 4th year. I'm currently midway through my 2nd year. The diagnosis was diffused intravascular coagulopathy precipitated by septic shock, secondary to a septic abortion. D:
Haha, I just wish I could take more pictures. It's always relaxing. I've noticed that I have a very photojournalistic approach to photography. I can't keep up with my own student, who's work I put on my photos for the week.
Waah... why is it that whenever I'm stressed, I come running to your profile for some comfort... *looks for the bean bag* My GF's dog is giving birth in a while... this is gonna be the first time I'm gonna witness something lyk this
Yup. Almost all of the lecturers in my class are practicing physicians. It's kinda like paying back the favor to the very institution that taught you everything you know.
The way it looks, I think there's an actual diagnosis, already... we're just doing guess work, and figuring out who can answer the diagnosis correctly. :O
Actually, I believe "plenary" is an official meeting, of sorts, and our school just loves using flowery words. Or perhaps I'm really a top secret government spy... :O *plays MI music...*
It's like on big meeting... in our case, we're going to discuss some actual medical case where this kid died, and we have a bunch of details of which we're going to try and come up with a diagnosis... waah...
Not really... but I'm not expecting much. -_-; Now, there's some kind of plenary this coming Thursday, and I'm part of the panel to discuss it... dang.
Kimmy! I'm okay... finally taking it easy after having an exam today. I didn't do all to well, but it wasn't that bad, either. Sigh... new module, but pretty much the same topic... Pathology. -_-;
