Lol yeah,you automatically understand basic japs.it happens to me too.ghost hound is pretty good,but all the talkings about brains and stuff is kind of boring
yea, watching over 800 episodes of anime, i can understand basic conversational japanese. anime like Ghost Hound, or sci-fi-ish.. are ... not good for mee.

if you want to buy a new cable, what you could do is, buy the same exact model from best buy, swap the cables and return it saying that this harddrive won't work or 'found a better deal'. [don't try this with the drive itself, cause.. you might get caugh
the problem is they dont know.actually,this problem has been brewing for some time a few days ago,when i have to try a few times to connect the drive to the laptop
yup, so its one cable. it could mean that your computer is not just recognizing it or that the drive might be dead [only a slight chance]. If you have another comp at ur house, try pluging it there.
Start -> Run-> type: 'cmd', then the cmd prompt ones up, type 'net start', a bunch of stuff comes up, tell me if you see UPnP or something like universal plug and play. i just need to make sure this is on.
so if the 'status light' only turns on when its in the comp's usb port, then the comp is not properly recognizing it, and could be some weird driver issue.
the status light is supposed to be on when i connect it with my laptop.usually when i connect it,there will be light and a message will appear at the laptop saying that a hardware is found
if the light is supposed to be on, without even plugging in the computer, like a 'power status light', then the power brick or [something inside] is at fault. if the 'status light' is supposed to be on, when u plug it in the comp, then it could be comp n
the possibilities are: the power brick of your ext. hard drive, or its a cable fault. If this ext. hard drive is only a year old, those two scenarios are rare.
If its possible, have you tried plugging it into a different USB or firewire port on ur compu

lol,sounds good but unless it is animated by kyoto animation,i wouldn't touch that series.speaking of which,after clannad ended suzumiya season 2 will start.i hope after suzumiya kyoani will consider doing full metal panic
it would be too bad if the animators choose a sad ending,but then it will be more memorable.i dare say i almost forgot most of the shoujo anime i watch because it is cliche.that is why i opted for other genres
i hope Okazaki-kun gets the lights in the anime and Nagisa-chan is saved~~ cause they're soo cuute together and had soo much good moments together. Nagisa-chan in the anime feels like Okazaki-kun's wife all throughtout, waay too cuute >_<~
i heard that clannad game has a sad ending, i downloaded Tomoyo After~ Wonderful Life~ one, Tomoya X Tomoyo~~ its cuute, ..... i need an english language patch for the game T^T

yeah,if compare to the normal pendrive,it takes only a few seconds to transfer one episode while it takes 4 minutes per episode for pendrive.i am planning to buy 300GB soon,but i am currently waiting for computer festival so that i can get it cheap
well i like all genres of animes but i dont really like shoujo.shoujo animes/mangas bored me these days.i prefer post apocalyptic/mecha/shounen animes or mangas.
