The whole revenge thing sounds kind of boring ...but I'll give it a shot. Seems weird to make the U.S. part of an empire seeing as we have never had a king.

Lelouch is A Britannia Person, He Is actually a Prince in the Britannia I think, But he didn't like it that Britannia Took over Japan and he want's to revolt against them. So he more of a Britannia than Eleven but he's been living in Japan
This series is VERY amazing. The characters, the plot, the climaxes, it`ll get you page turning, episode clicking in just hours. I loved it, enjoyed it, and its definately my favourite anime.
That was a nice opening episode. I thought it was something like Gundam but it turn out to be much better. Definitely going to watch this till the end!
