It still feels weird to me that its automatic shuffling. One thing that MJ always appealed to me as a kid was shuffling the tiles and the noise it made. It seemed to much fun when everyone was shuffling.
This is an odd but interesting series. I feel like I'm watching Hikaru no Go, except with mahjong. I know how to play the game, though I don't understand scoring at all. In any case, the character designs are nice, and the story is good.

@Noien: its a contest, if you get all the tiles, you get a free am. the one of circles is one of the tiles that we're trying to collect and its like the rarest ones to get.

The Rinshan Kaihou makes more sense now after seeing the flashback in this episode. It's like Saki's homage to her sister. Too bad Teru is nothing like the onee-chan Saki remembers:(. Poor thing.
