Tezuka has what alot of people like to call his "cast" he will reuse character designs, for example the lion from last episode is exactly the same as Kimba the while lion another tezuka series. He's famous for things like reusing characters

Hmm this episode was alot sadder than the others. More realistic, I guess. Except for the part about being able to transplant two arms from a burn victim.
I found myself talking to myself a lot, during this episode. Especially telling myself something like, "Only in japan... only in japan..." Because I was so sure that Taku was going to tell the guy who ran him over to give him his arms.
