I told you on MAL by the way, but you need to watch Someday's Dreamers. It probably won't be in any top lists, but it was worth watching. It's on veoh if you want it. You may consider watching the spin off here as well.
I suppose so. I had to work on Sunday to make up for my day off though. *cries* I was kind of tired of sad endings anyway, so it's okay with me. I think it was a bit ridiculous though.
Haha, well, at least there's anime whe you're done. Yeah, DCII 2 had a good ending, much better than its prequel. But I kinda disliked the fact that they brought Yoshiyuki back to life. Should have just left it an unhappy ending.
Thanks. I needed an Akari one. DCII ended quite well by the way. For the first time I wasn't enraged by a Da Capo ending. Anyway, yeah. I have off today due to rain, but I still have to do work at home sadly.
You know what's annoying? Kino no Tabi doesn't have an OST. I searched for hours. I mean HOURS. There was never one released. I loved the soundtrack to that anime...
Of course I'm not in the library. I'm at a friends place. I'm rewatching Kino no Tabi with him. Just got to the episode where the original Kino was stabbed.
Oh, Baccano... I can't say I'm very fond of it (too many irritating characters, IMO), but I can't really can't give it any lower than an 8. The plot is too well done.
Actually, I've began to dislike A&L. It's just not how it used to be. The first arc was just superb, then, the second was ok, this is just rash we're watching now. Now I just wish it could just jump straight to Lillia's story.
Haha, I get what you mean man. Can't really give it higher than a 7, but it's just so great. Frankly, I liked the ending. Maybe it's after comparing that with the sub-standard storyline of the manga that gave it a victory. XD
I loved Welcome to the NHK, man. I think it's one of my top 20 at least. Maybe even top 10. I can't rate it objectively higher than a 7, but I related so well to it that I was scared. Excellently done psychology. The last episode was weak.
Thing is, my mom didn't used to be very strict. This is the harshest punishment I've ever received. It's a real bummer. It's the same for me really. No one wants to hire me for 4 weeks.
Haha, strict parents, I see. I get that too, but not as strict as yours are. I wanted an office job, but no office wants to hire for a month, so I kinda bummed my summer away. XD
wow... Guess you'd better stay home all day then. Hate to hear anything happening to you invloving starvation man. Maybe drink some milk or something? That can help hunger, and isn't hard on you teeth...
Haha, I know how that feels man. BAck when I had chicken pox, I was brought to a seafood restaurant. Can't eat crap there... NHK really is a uniquie concept that merges real Japanese problems into a single anime, and mad it enjoyable.
I'm halfway through NHK in the Japanese version, by the way. I actually don't think the dub was all that bad in comparison, though there are still some faults in it.
It does really suck. My cheeks are still really swollen. I had to watch my family eat my favorite food in front of me while I ate mashed potatoes and scrambled eggs. It was sad.
It's not good, I'm just saying it's improved. NHK is awesome. I think they did the psychological insight really well. All of the characters have a surprising depth to them.
Well, not really. It's still quite bad IMO. True, it's better than the 1st few episodes, but by not much. NHK is truly great. But don't bother with the manga. It's one of the few that I found anime far better than manga...
Hey hal, is it just me, or is Tower of Druaga getting more tolerable? I don't think nearly as low of it as I did when it started. Welcome to the NHK is great as well.
Haha, how true... Like how Vampire Knight turned out. -_-
BTW, fox's wedding? Lucky you. Last time I went to England I got a hailstorm, which DEFINATELY ain't good...
I know right? It was fun. I really enjoyed it. Just a note: fox's weddings are as cool as Aria made them out to be. Raining with no clouds in the sky. I can't quite describe how awesome that was.
It's quite good, really... The best way to describe it would be RPG cum dating sim. It's quite interesting. It would be better if the voices were in Jap, but the Eng dub's ok as well, I guess.
Haha, frankly, I've been slowing down in anime myself. It's been rather uneventful in recent episodes anyway. Think the only think noteworthy is another arc coming ending in Allison.
Ack. I need a slice of life too... How's it been Hal? I haven't been able to come on for a while, so I'm behind in a lot of animes. Anything good/bad happen?
Well, I agree. it's only in Natural that she became a favourite for me too. She wasn't given much screen time in Animation, but, then again, neither was anyone else. Athena really shined because as a senpai, she paled in comparison to Alice
It's because of her look for most of the seasons. She was kind of annoying for a while, in my opinion. She suddenly became one of my favorites in the Natural. Still, I really like Akari and Athena. Athena is a good avatar choice for me. lol
Haha... Yup, guess I'm quite easy to see thru... But looking at the favourites list on MAL, Aika is the 2nd from bottom Undine of the popularity list in Aria. Quite saddening...
Nice Aika avatar. I knew you would make one, so I did someone else. lol So yeah, these should be out in pretty quick succession. I can't wait to get the Origination. XD
Me too! Or at least, get the downloaded version. Wonder if I should do that... That's in US dollars, ya? Actually, that's quite cheap for a whole season...
I've got season 1 pre-ordered. Waiting to order the Natural when I can. It's time to live up to my standards. If I like an anime a lot, I buy it. Luckily, Aria is really cheap for me by comparison. An entire season for $30? Awesome.
Me too! My sis went on to get ready to ship in the first 2 seasons already! Talk about hardcore! I wish we could actually get licensed stuff here without the shipping...
Yeah. I basically just made my new avatar and relaxed today. First break I've had in ages. I know your plight. Nothing seems worth watching right now. I'm really tempted to by the official aria subs of season 1 though...
Lol at that. Hope's it's back up soon... I'm having an anime block after yesterday. Appears any anime I watch isn't enjoyable anymore due to yesterday. I think I'll go on a short break from animing. Haha....
Busy season, it is... Busy season... I'm not sure if the virus is back, but it seems to blocking CR again -_-... Anyway, I just found out you are exactly of 12 hours time difference from me... LOL...
Well, I've dropped it and changed my currently watching to Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, better known as the Wallflower in the USA. It's pretty good so far, but I much prefer the manga.
See? What'd I tell you? It just dies all of a sudden. It started out weak, then it died. I have no clue why it's so popular. The manga is pretty good I guess, but not that good.
Woah, I finally saw what you meant about Hayate no Gotoku. It really sucks badly. I mean, it started out ok, but by episode 7, it just ain't doing well...
That's because it's not a comedy. But there are these two characters that make it funny at various points throughout. It's in some ways similar to Higurashi in the sense that there are some really comical moments, then some moments that you don't want to
Yeah... Baccano makes you laugh at the beginning, a lot in between, and at the end. Then there are parts that are intensely violent. It's not meant to be straight comedy, but it's funnier than Hayate.
Here's a problem, because I think a comedy should make me laugh from the get go to the end, which were what Lucky Star and the first season of Minimi-ke did. So far, Hayate didn't cut it.
Eh, the first season is funny enough. It just never gets exceptional. Baccano is pretty darn funny, and it's only 13 episodes. The only thing is that a lot of it isn't funny.
Well, I was kinda looking for comedy anime, and the other well-known ones are already watched, so I thought I'll give it a go. Maybe I'll try 10 epis first, then decide on whether to continue.
Well, it came back at the end there, but wow. It was annoying, to be honest. I had all of these positive thoughts about it with episode 7, and they kind of killed it. Oh well... Hayate no Gotoku? To be honest, after the first season I lost interest. The m
I've been wanting to get to watching Hikaru no Go, but it lisenced quite a while back, and it's difficult to find it streamed these days. I've tried, trust me...
