If you've read the books it was coming. I was surprised how early King Jeoffrey's murder came in season 4.

I want to say April 6th or some date like that is when the new season shows. From what I've seen, they'll start off with King Jeoffrey's infamous wedding.

Aw man I want to be an Unsullied, but I want to keep my junk. Is that OK with everyone?

HOLY DIO IT WAS AWESOME! I knew what happened because of the books, though, and it was still badass. Let's ignore the fact that I live in a country where it hasn't been aired yet! Valar dohaeris!

    Winter is almost here, bitches.

I don't know if anyone actually looks at this, but Season 2 came out here in Australia yesterday, so I picked up the House Greyjoy edition. Anyone else got Season 2?

Stannis is one of my favorite characters. At first I found him dry and unlikeable, but really say what you want he is a man of extreme justice and willpower.

I'm hoping for Stannis the Mannis to do some more ass-kickin'. Also want to see some badass shit from Jon Connington. A violent death for Ramsay Bolton wouldn't go astray, either.

I hope it doesn't end with John Snow and Dany marrying and ruling the Seven Kingdoms together.

I know, right? So pumped for Book 6. It's going to be amazing! George R.R Martin will not disappoint me!

ahh Okay that makes sense. Northern Ireland helped fund it I guess. And yes, Winterfell among other things was filmed in N. Ireland. Hopefully the series is able to make a full run through all the books.

Thanks for answering Kaiser, it's always nice to learn interesting details here and there about the making of the books and the show.

The series was partially funded by the government there. They used Malta and Dubrovnik in Croatia as scenes for King's Landing. I don't know if that was any help to you.

I have no idea why they filmed in Northern Ireland specifically - perhaps that will be in the bonus features of GoT DVD collection? Was N. Ireland where they filmed most of The North scenes in?

oh and if people could answer this for me I'd be grateful. Why did they film in Northern Ireland instead of the rest of Ireland?

Something I heard recently "The people you need to fear are not the people in the limelight but those that run things in the shadows" Think that applies to Tyrion .... I hope.

The problem is that one of her kids is an absolute ass. The inability to reign him in kind of cancels out her love (to me)

I guess Cersei's one redeeming quality is that she really, really blindly loves her children.
  • Kaiser-Windhelm
    10/25/12
Damn Cersei. Probably the only one of the Lannisters that doesn't have any redeeming qualities whatsoever. I mean, Tyrion's a badass, Jamie's not that bad a guy (later in the series), and Ser Kevan's just... there.

Cersei was so wicked to try to backstab her brother and order that Kingsguard to attack Tyrion in the middle of the battle.

Ah, Winter, me to. The dwarf ran out and had more courage then anybody, and motivated a whole squadron of disheartened soldiers..Such a cool dude

I was so pissed off after season 2 where Tywin gets all the credit for saving King's Landing while Tyrion gets none of that recognition for his work.

Why would he not be in Season 3? He's in the third book!

i know it is kinda sad as Tyrion is awesome for a lannister and a good person in a way so will be sad but still sooo good!

I'm excited for the next season. It will be epic, even if the midget doesn't play a big roll...

Enjoy it! I love the intro scene, so intense! The book intro was more awesome though.

Watching the 1st episode of GoT right now !

The only actors I'd heard of, and had seen in movies before I watched the series were Peter Dinklage and Sean Bean. Both are awesome.

I'm seeing a lot of GoT cast in movies lately. Lena Headey is in Dredd 3D. Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) is in the new Silent Hill movie. Jaime Lannister is in some movie as well, can't remember which.

Tywin seems much more likeable on the tv show, he's actually pretty awesome and imposing in the HBO series.

I've read all the books, so the TV show is completely ruined for me.

Ours is the fury! Damn right it is! Everyone I like dies, and the new season isn't out yet! Can't complain, as I'm reading the books, and they're awesome.

Oh yeah, the Sand Snakes sound so exotic, mysterious, and sexy!

I agree! You have to be careful around a guy nicknamed The Red Viper. I'm in love with the Sand Snakes though. xD

Oberyn Martell is one of the biggest badasses in that lore. Let's try to recruit more GoT fans guys!
  • oyaji3211
    9/27/12
Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken. Martell has the coolest words, imo. It also helps that their women have the biggest libidos in the world. xD

Yeah, then we need to have a brilliant debate about it. That could be a lot of fun
