but as for as my past experiences with the japanese verison goes... all of them can play US version, but because of the US laws are strict so they have chips build in before selling it to us...
yeah, just look at all the good game in japan, the only place I can find them are in china, and it's in PC version (NOOOO *inner scream*) it takes forever to get here, and a lot of asian play raw version japanese games
ok... sigh... I think I'll wait till July to get them, since my brother is going back to china, so I'll give him money for it, and ask him to ask for me, they can always alter is so I can play both (black market hehe...)

ya the orignal was for the PC but it was an H game and then it was remade for the PS3 and was released last year ^_^ and now for some reason they are making a reprint but i dont kno the details as too y T_T but im sure either version is ok

yeah, I love the graphic and characters and stuffs, but I think I like the improve version of the graphic better the 3rd have the best graphic, but some reasons I love the 1st battle systems tho...
funny game but so wrong on so many lvls XD i loved the vampire chick she was my fav xD and the main character was also very good (an hawt) especially in his final form OMG TALK ABOUT MAJOR BLUSHING >_< half naked powerhouse FTW!!! LOL
now a good classic series would be shadow hearts XD especially the new world game omg that game was so fun (the gay sales men that always followed u was always entertaining plus the end game enemies were freaking hysterical XD
