This is one of my favorite movies of all time - ran into it by coincidence in 2003 & have been telling ppl abt it ever since. I think it's great fun. Some ppl hate it & get angry but you have to be blind not to know it's going to be strange
absolutely fantastic. just watched & it 's a musical black comedy with enough character developement to make you empathize with the actors & the crazy situations. Not something I would have thought even sanely possible...
miike is brilliant, and this is his happiest film. don't look for logic here- this is supposed to be a fun, zany ride. for a remake, it has a lot of originality.
