No, I love answering questions. You will always have a companion. You get assigned a new one every few months or so. And it's normally 4 or 6 in a "group". And you go to both LDS and non-LDS. Though mainly non-LDS.
Don't take this the wrong way, I'm just interested, so I'm probably asking too many questions. So do you go out to people who aren't LDS or just the ones that are? and are you all alone or is it a group of people?
It probably sounds kinda weird to you, but it really isn't to me. It's about forgetting yourself and serving others and sharing what I believe to be true. Hope I'm not getting to preachy.
It's about focusing on things. I am basically committing myself to 2 years of service. As such there are certain rules that apply. Such as no television, computer, phone, music and the like. It's all about focusing on what you are doing.
Why do you have to be cut off from everything? Is it like during training or something? I think if you were in Africa or something I would understand better, but West Virginia is still the U.S. so why is there no internet?
Yeah it was labor day weekend. It was a blast! I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was so much fun! It was so funny to walk into the mall with other people who were cosplaying and just watch people stare at us, lol. It was great!
Bermuda eh? Sounds like fun! No, I did not get to do the costume...sadly...I wish I had been able to, I just didn't get the pieces together in time. It was still fun, but would have been better if I could of cosplayed...

Well, I'm going on a 2 year church mission sometime this year (don't know where yet, so don't ask) and then after that I'm still planning on going to NY if I can...oh, but did I tell you I'm going to Kumoricon at the end of the month?
