just had a competition with a japanese high school from fukuoka. they r pretty hardout. i wish my sword skills could compare but sadly their determination is just too great.
i no eh, lol each class lasts for 40 mins..... and we hav 10 weeks a term and after that 2n half weeks of holidayz. near november we get three month to the 1st of feb hehehe =) lucky eh ?
iaido is only after u passed level 2 training that u use real swords to train for humility and style lol, kendo its like my groups pictures check them out =).
ahhh.. now i get it.. in rourouni kenshin.. i think.. they said te kendo does not use real swrods.. only wood or bamboo ones.. but now.. its all cleared up..
okay in my picture it is called iaido which we use real sharpened katanas, in kendo we use bokken (wooden sword) for training style and shinai (bamboo blade) for actually man to man fighting.

i am chinese by origin, i moved to australia wen i was little .. maybe 4 then i moved to auckland newzealand wen i was 10 becoz of my parent's work....
u see there used to be 10 levels, now there are only 8. 1 being the lowerst (shodan) and 8 being the highest. im going for 4th dan so in other words im just ur average samurai
