Whoa,wait if this is made to complete the story after .hack//roots then they wern't supposed to change his clothes....They did start roots before the game prototype thing right?
Some look pretty good and some look bad though. after all those vol. games came out, it's give us different opinion about this between the prototype and the original.
Haseo looks cooler in the prototype (more casual)
and they should have kept the designs in this one (cept for pai, she looked odd..) I like these kind of graphics better (it resembles anime a bit more..)

LOL where the heck did u pull this from, this is awsome but I never heard of the prototype of GU. This is my first time hearing about the original concept. And the sound tracks they use on Dot.Hack always sound so good. I wish we could by the OST.
Some of the old version old characters we're pretty sweet! Atoli, Yata, and Endrance had the best ones. Sakubo and Pi scared me when I sow there old version of them self o.o.
well this proto version and the finalized version now, had its flaws and good points, like for example, some of the character designs i would of liked in this prototype better, like atoli longer hair. good thing haseo got a armor change. and his giant cha
.....i don't get it...why is it that every games there are, the beta version or original look or original weapon of each people allways is better than the final product...the final product looks damn dull comapred to that.
