(this might have been better in a PM), and Katie needs to be in school full time. I'm officially divorced. That came thru the beginning of June. Ian and I are actually building a decent friendship, and we are both healing well from that.

and broken, but I'm mending now, and I think I'm ready to start living again. I've been writing a lot of music, but it's all very depressing. I'm making plans for uni, myself, to start in a couple of years. (I need music prereqs first,...

I'm glad Plant is back. I was going to ask about her. Why are you looking up biological pathways and corsets? I'm really glad uni went well for you! =D Hmmm... me huh? Well, I kinda had breakdown this year. I got pretty messed up...

*needed more space* I should probably go to sleep soon, so let me know what you've been up to, and I'll reply tomorrow etc.
  • Jul 11 2009
    Image
Well, I noticed it in my inbox, and managed to remember my password. Uni went surprisingly well, so I'm still on a bursary for next year. Plant is now back. I'm now sitting around with housemates looking up biological pathways and corsets.

Omhck!! this is awesome. I just happened to be back myself. I've been off pretty much since Feb. What a coincidence that you are on at the same time! How did school go for you? And everything else?

Hi there, this must be the first time I've been on CR since about Christmas. shocking! I've been keeping quite well, exams, moving, familial fun etc. How about yourself?

wow... I was the last one to sign your GB, and I've been away for age. How have you been, hun?

have a good sleep. it was great catching up just a little. coughing doesn't sound so good, y'know. *worried frown* I noticed that about the movie, but it's hard to catch some of the stuff Frank wrote about in a blockbuster film.

No, no, no. The remake which attempts to mirror the epic length of the book. I had watched the first 3 hours yesterday. Bed now, I have moved to the sofa to combat the damp, I don't cough down here, my stuff is moving tomorrow.
  • Dec 14 2008

    That one wasn't 6 hours, though. o.O?

With Kyle McLaughlin and Sean Young? That Dune?? Woot!
  • Dec 14 2008
    Image
I'll have to say bye now, I'm going to watch the second half of the 6 hour epic, Dune.

Actually, I needed to hear that message right now. =) Thanx!

I just popped over here for a second (stalking...be afraid), and got sucked in by your song.

Well, you may have chosen it, but mould wasn't really an issue in the summer, I'll bet. I know what you mean, though. Every time I move I find something new to ask about, or check for. (electrical outlet, phone jacks, do the windows open)
  • Dec 14 2008
    Image
I chose this room, so I can't really move, I can only complain to the landlady and ask my friends to open the bathroom window.
  • Dec 14 2008
    Image
sorry...aunts. *embarassed* So you are kind of stuck in that room for at least the rest of the year? That's kinda...not friendly. I'm sorry. UAE sounds adventurous. I hope she's enjoying it! It must be hard with her so far away. =(
  • Dec 14 2008
    Image
... work at a zoo in the UAE. I have yet to hear back whether she enjoyed it.

The room is in my rented house in Nottingham. I don't move to my aunt's (not uncle) until next Saturday. The plant is okay, sitting on my window-sill, suffering a little from the cold but still nice and green. Image She's fine, just started...
  • Dec 14 2008

I was thinking about that last night, but I can't remember what that index is called. I know we usually have minutes, though, not seconds.
  • Dec 14 2008
    Image
ew. That doesn't sound very healthy. <=S I'd rather have biting cold than "damp" anyday, tbh. Is this the room at your uncles? How is your Plant doing?
  • Dec 14 2008
    Image
On the subject of cold; was listening to Garrison Keillor (of Lake Woebegone fame) last night, how discussed the weather in Nunavut, saying that they forecast the "Seconds to Frostbite", not the temperature, I wonder who measures that. Image
  • Dec 14 2008
    Image
Brr... not that cold here fortunately, just peeking above zero still during the day, unfortunately my room is damp and the radiator doesn't work, I just wiped the mould off the walls and have wrapped up and opened the window.

Oh, I'd like to hibernate today... it's gotta be about -30 out there with the windchill. Brrrr. I'm glad you get a break!
  • Dec 13 2008
    Image
Uni's been okay, I've got a month's worth of holiday now. Just enough time to revise for the exams in Jan. It is nice to have a break in the winter so you can go into hibernation for a little bit.
  • Dec 13 2008
    Image
Wow... I didn't actually expect an answer so quick. Life here is up and down. I'm taking a bit of a break b4 the new year, but then it should be up again. It must be exciting for you to seem your parents again! How are classes going?
  • Dec 13 2008
    Image
Hi, yeah, I've been somewhat MIA, lots going on and being lazy. I'm not going home as such, just to reliatives in a week until the new year, my parents are coming over for Christmas. How's things with you?
  • Dec 12 2008
    Image
Henz, hun, you seem to be MIA. Hope you have a great Christmas! (assuming you will be heading home for that). *hugs*

It's nice to have you back. I've missed ya! =)
  • Oct 3 2008

I'm sure you could find them on the web, they're both on myspace at least.
  • Oct 2 2008

It took me a minute to figure out that Turisas and Dragonforce were bands. Would I be able to google/youtube/imeem them? I'm not so sure I'd trust the chinese takeaway myself, but it sounds like fun! =)
  • Oct 2 2008
    Image
True. *hugs back* On an up-note; saw Turisas (who were stupidly amazing) and Dragonforce (who were mainly uninspiring) yesterday, then went to another gig and got given the bands leftover chinese takeaway (and other random stuff).
  • Oct 1 2008
    Image
I don't doubt that you have a lot of work to do. *hugs* You sound so ... sad. I'm sorry. "busy" helps, but it's never quite enough, is it?
  • Oct 1 2008
    Image
I've been surviving. It's just beginning to hit me how much work I have to do, keeps my mind off stuff I suppose. Lucky that kids heal so fast.
  • Sep 30 2008
    Image
Right...she's away. bones have mended, spirits are good. How bout yours? Is school going well for ya, so far? I'm sorry Plant is so far away. It must be hard.
  • Sep 30 2008
    Image
I'm quite good atm. Having fun with the start of term, taking my mind off Plant's leaving. We're in our first full week of lectures now, but I've got lots of socialising to catch up on from the holidays. I hope the bones and spirits heal.
  • Sep 29 2008
    Image
I've actually been waiting, ever since we moved in, for one of those girls to fall out of that tree. How 'bout you? Are you back in uni now?
  • Sep 29 2008
    Image
Wheeeee!! Smothers GB with *hugs* OMHck! I thought you finally fell off one of those cliffs you are always climbing! I'm am loads better now that I've heard from you (and that's a trick!) I'm actually doing really well.
  • Sep 29 2008
    Image
    P.S. How are you?
  • Sep 29 2008
    Image
*sneaks up and taps on shoulder* According to your "fall and break arm" theory my mum isn't a real mother yet. I have yet to (knowingly) break any bones.
  • Sep 2 2008

Struggling with being "international"? That sounds painful. How have you been? I haven't had a yack with you for yonks. Are you back at school yet?
  • Aug 4 2008
    Image
LOL...I'm glad you think you will enjoy your job, that makes it much easier to do.
  • Aug 4 2008
    Image
No, no, I was considering my job. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
  • Aug 4 2008
    Image
Did you say you think I will "enjoy" it? My divorce? That's an odd sentiment. I mean, it's prolly true (I'm really happy), but certainly not the normal thing to say. =) Any big plans b'sides work, for the rest of summer?
  • Aug 4 2008
    Image
I'm sure I'll find enjoyment in it.
  • Aug 3 2008
    Image
Well that is something at least. Any experience helps, I suppose. When do you start?
  • Aug 3 2008
    Image
It will be sort of medical. A least I'll be reqired to look after patients and those who are less able to look after themselves.
  • Aug 1 2008
    Image
Is it medical? I sounds like you will have a lot of variety, though. And it will be a great experience.
  • Aug 1 2008
    Image
I'm not sure what the job's going to be like, it varies. It can be looking after children, adults or senior citizens. And can be days, weekends or nights, depending upon when I'm free, the agency seemed very flexible.
  • Aug 1 2008
    Image
awwww, thank you. I know they will. I've never done anything like this before, so, I'm just never sure what to expect. What is your job like?
  • Aug 1 2008
    Image
    *hug* Things'll work out soon.
  • Aug 1 2008
    Image
have a better idea of what's really going on. I think we have everything settled between us, but Ian can't even look for a new place until he knows how much child support will be. It's a vicious cycle. *ugh*
  • Aug 1 2008
    Image
I'm good. I've been pretty moody, and I think it's cuz my heart is totally out of Ian's life, but my body is still stuck there, and my mind doesn't know which way to go. It will get better once the lawyers start talking, and then we ...
  • Aug 1 2008
    Image
the week after next, and will be able to start work a while after that. I'm going to try and get a volunteer job inbetween times. How's you?
  • Aug 1 2008
    Image
Plant's at her parent's place, she's gone back for a couple of weeks to see them and do a short job. I've basically got the job now, though I need to wait for my criminal records check to come through. I'm going in for the training...
  • Jul 31 2008
    Image
lol...so where is plant, if not in the UK with you? (thought that would be the draw for you to go back). what kind of work are you looking for? Same as last year?
  • Jul 31 2008
    Image
Yeah, I've had the haircut (and am now less shaggy... *tries not to make a crude joke about his g/f being away*) I have another 2 months (terms begins at the end of september over here) and yes, I am back in the UK
  • Jul 30 2008
    Image
need a haircut?? *oohhh, a shaggy Henz, hmmmm* sorry, i really mean that in an innocent way. :blush:no double entenre intended.
  • Jul 30 2008
    Image
sonds like life is hopping. I'm not sure why your friend having mates over makes your house crowded...unless you are back in England again. It's the end of July, isnt it a bit late to be thinking of work, for only one month?
  • Jul 30 2008
    Image
I'm surviving. My friend has mates over so the house is overrun at the moment, and plant's gone home. I need to sort out my job this week, but in order to do that I need a haircut, and the barber's is closed. *hectic*

Schandmaul are the ones I wanted. thx! How are ya doing? I haven't had a good dose of baked beans for ages!
  • Jul 27 2008
    Image
The previous lot were "Schandmaul" and the new ones are "Subway to Sally".
  • Jul 24 2008
    Image
(sorry for spamming) BTW, who was yesterday's group again? (it's gone now, so I can't reference your embed)
  • Jul 24 2008
    Image
I like this...it's full bodies and strong. I luv multi-layered songs that expand the senses. I've really got to figure out how to download music. I guarantee, I'm not going to be able to get this (or yesterdays stuff) here.
  • Jul 24 2008
    Image
I searched them out after my post yesterday. I really like them, but I'm Canadian, and that type of music is part of our culture. Listening to your new embed now.
  • Jul 24 2008
    Image
Yeah, my favourite song by them is "Drachentoter" (Dragon Killer). They use hurdy gurdies ^^ I'm sort of back now, I'm leeching off a local wireless connection
  • Jul 23 2008
    Image
Henz, I miss you. I know, busy, busy, busy. Yyour music just came up... listening. Very Jethro Tull. I luv this kind of music...is all their stuff like this? Oh... I liked that.
  • Jun 30 2008
    Image
How exciting for you! Are you planning to stay in the UK when you go back, until school starts again? I' m good. No much changes for me. =)
  • Jun 30 2008
    Image
    How are you?
  • Jun 30 2008
    Image
Hi. I just got back from a holiday in old East Germany (lots of brilliant scenery). I'm now free from uni until September, I'll be going back to the UK in a couple of weeks, before that my g/f's coming over to go to a music festival w/ me.

Yodel -lay- he- henz!! You there, anywhere?
  • Jun 19 2008

I'm wondering if you walked to back to Germany (after a short swim of course)...good to hear your voice again. Sleep well, ttyl!
  • Jun 19 2008

I'm finally back in Germany. *exhausted*
  • Jun 18 2008

beginning to wonder if you've fallen off another mountain...<=I
  • Jun 11 2008
    Image
Hihi! You back in Germany yet? *uber jealous* How ya bin doin?
  • Jun 7 2008
    Image
You say that your location is with your nose to the grindstone. must hurt. sounds busy. How are your parents? I hope everything is okay. Have fun tonight!
  • Jun 7 2008
    Image
I forget the previous conversation involving my nose... anyway, I'm okay, slightly exhausted having had a 6 hour long meeting / picnic and then getting a phone call from my parents and cycling home. I'm now off for dinner.
  • Jun 6 2008
    Image
Hmmmm, that must be an uncomfortable place for you nose, my friend...o.0 How are you doing?
  • May 30 2008
    Image
I was wondering about that...I actually need to get brekkie...ttyl! =)
  • May 30 2008
    Image
I reckon I get my fair share of the heavy music scene, to put it mildly. I wear ear plugs though. I have dinner to go and eat... enjoy the rest of your day.
  • May 30 2008
    Image
I'll have to wait and see... however it would be hard to tell, as those who listen to loud music often have children who listen to loud music.
  • May 30 2008
    Image
Yes, and it's almost constant, however noise aggravates it. Image
  • May 30 2008
    Image
The Dead Kennedys are fun, DOA are an unknown quantity. My mum unfortunately now has tinnitus so can't satiate her love of music.
  • May 30 2008
    Image
Lolz. My friends have taken to describing my taste in music as "too old and with pointlessly long guitar solos". I do like Jethro Tull and think I've heard and liked Marillon before. I get most of my music love from my mum >> << >>
  • May 30 2008
    Image
I have yet to experience Chemical Logic... *googles*
  • May 30 2008
    Image
I'll PM you my likes, it's a bit long for a GB
  • May 30 2008
    Image
I get chucked out of hall for the day. I'm not going to the festival since it's all "Indie" and "Grime" (London rap) neither of which I'm into and it's quite expensive for what it is. I'm going to my g/f's birthday and a Metal night instead
  • May 30 2008
    Image
hehe, probably is their best song from "Machine", can't say I'm a big fan though. A drummer O.o somewhat unexpected.
  • May 30 2008
    Image
The stage for the Uni's summer party (biggest student festival in Europe) is being set up about 5 meters from my window, and they're doing the sound tests (needs ear plugs).
  • May 30 2008
    Image
klkl - though I would have to say some opera is quite fun (Mozart's "Magic Flute" and Wagner's "Flying Dutchman") though much of it depends upon the production. You could try suggesting some music to me. ^^
  • May 30 2008
    Image
P.S. What genre(s) of music would you consider yourself to be into?
  • May 30 2008
    Image
O.o umm... "Static X" (btw, *tongue in cheek*) however they definitely qualify as "harder"
  • May 30 2008
    Image
Umm... I'm not really in to that sort of music tbh. I prefer my rock, metal and goth (alongside classical, baroque, jazz & MediƦval) Joins the headbanging questionners!!! Newa, try "Crime in Stereo".
