Btw,what are some of your favorite Argento films? Besides Opera, I also like Tenebre,Deep Red,Inferno,Five Days of Milan,Stendhal Syndrome. Of post Opera I recommend Stendhal. Atypical film compared to Argento's other gialli.

Opera is one of my favorites from Argento. Excellent imagery, haunting main theme. Liked the idea of the killer forcing the main lead to watch his murders to try to make her become like her mom.

Another thing I liked about The Beyond is it has the feel of a nightmare that never ends. Did you get a similar impression when watching the movie?

What is your favorite non violent moment from The Beyond? Mine is the first meeting between Liza and Emily on the bridge. Esp, the car ride leading up to it when Emily appears out of nowhere.Haunting and poetic scene(film itself is poetic).

What's your thoughts on The Black Cat. I thought it was a decent film with a good amount of atmosphere and mood. Some good death scenes too(like the fiery death of Miles' ex lover). It felt like homage to Corman's Poe/Hammer films to me.
