    Silver Spoon is a Gem
Not really sure what else to add. Try it out. Its a very heartwarming anime that follows a city boy who ends up going to high school out in the country and learning about agriculture. It stays interesting. Its funny. It has a great cast of characters.

The story is average and honestly felt at little boring a first, but as the series went on I ended up loving how a story so generic can be so ...

A must watch for anyone looking for something new.
When i first looked at the info about this anime i was skeptical. The setting in this story is very strange. I quickly fell in love though. I have found Silver Spoon to not only be entertaining, but a great example of how difficult it can be to decide what to do with ones life.

I would recommend for everyone to at least watch the first few episodes to see if it has as a dramatic impact on your ...

An Exceptional & Entertaining Agriculture Anime
Having been a farmer most of my life, I can truly appreciate this anime. It's a joy to watch, it's highly entertaining and whimsical.

You'll love watching this anime, especially if you have any farming background in your blood.

    Refreshing and Unique
Wasn't sure what to expect from this anime. The setting and events are, from what I can tell, completely different to any other show/manga, and make for a really interesting story.

With how much emphasis is put on the agricultural aspects, it's easy to forget that this is a highschool slice of life anime. I have a feeling this will make education fun again.

One of the best Slice of Life anime out there, but...
the anime doesn't cover the whole story. It tries really hard to end on some kind of a conclusion, but there's very little resolution to anything. Once again, an anime got greenlit while the manga was still ongoing. I am beyond sick of watching anime that end because the manga isn't done yet and wind up leaving the viewer on a cliffhanger that will never be resolved. The show itself is wonderful, ...

One of the best anime series I've ever watched!
A simply masterful (in a simple yet effective way) series!

    Pros:

    + Fantastic pacing.
+ Top-tier characters! Especially the main (his growth and how he changes).
+ An emotional rollercoaster of the calm kind.
+ Subtle but powerful music, and gourgeous animation in the same style as FMA: B.
+ Completely encapsulated me and made me hate when real life came crawling ...

Funny, Unique, and Worth the watch
One of my all time favorite series of all times. Main Character comes from the city to an agricultural high school where he learns the ins and outs of raising animals, including the moral dilemmas of raising animals to kill for meet, and the terrible truth that eggs come from Chicken Butts. Mixed in with the moral lessons and hilarity are the typical high school problems, such as love, friendship, ...

Outstanding Real-World Slice-of-Life Successor to Full Metal Alchemist
Silver Spoon is a show from the creator of Full Metal Alchemist. I don't want to spoil anything, but if you've seen FMA you'll recognize some commonalities despite the radical departure in subject material. The character designs that can seem both whimsical and serious will be familiar, as will the central themes of family and sacrifice. The gags and jokes almost always hit the mark, and the ...

    A good and light show
I really like this show , you actually learn a lot and is light and fun to watch. The characters are likable and the setting is out of the typical high school anime. You never know what you will learn and how it will develop, cause its isnt a typical anime. (well, except the romance, but at least the romance isnt annoying is quite cute)

One of the best I've seen.
This is an amazing series. It's fun, informative and it isn't afraid to give you the bad with the good rolling it all up into a story that you can't walk away from until it's done. The humor is top notch and everything is well paced. Here's hoping for a third season and more!
