This is a great series, but it does draaag sometimes. Why are they spending 3 episodes discussing this particular character's history? That's a full-length movie on why he quit playing basketball that could have been told in 10 minutes.

I just can't get over the fact that Akagi's nickname was created before Sakuragi. Wow! And c'mon, where's the goaltending call? Mitsui's shot was clearly going in, and Akagi just grabbed it out of the air. Goaltending!
