Slice of life, on the cute side
A girl severely lacking in self-confidence joins high school a year late, and is befriended by three girls from her class.
At first I was concerned about the fanservice moment that hit about 17 seconds into the first episode, but after the initial bit, it calmed down a lot. After that the fanservice was very subtle.
Heavy emphasis on the cute factor in this series. There are some genuinely funny ...

    The Title is Accurate
Just a laid back and simple show that perfectly captures the atmosphere of hanging out with your friends. It kinda reminds me of a more grounded Azumanga Daioh, which is absolutely something I want. I predict there will be tears when this show ends.

It may not seem like much, but i'm sure it will pick up later on, it just has a... Slow Start.

    Good Cute Anime to Watch
This is anime is a typical slice of life affair which isn't a bad thing to take it slow and watch something cute like this it is nice and relaxing. There are very likable characters with their own cute quirks. The premise of a girl starting highschool a year late and trying to cover embarrassment. And there are several funny moments and the animation is really nice to look at too~

  • A little cute Anime, but not only that.
"Slow Start" is a typical "slice of life" - nichijou-kei anime, but not only that. A little secret is life-or-death problem for a teenager. Just to choose first cloth by yourself, just to go out for festival your friends is a big adventure. This show draws those youthful excitement with fear vividly - not just cute high-school girls laugh and having fun all the time, but not too seriously. I like ...

  • 4.5 star adorableness
Everything about this show is cute.
    The characters are cute
    The setups are cute

There are quite a few tropes and cliches but overall it is a relaxing and silly show that helps you wind down after a long day. I liked the art style and the characters.

  • Very interesting to watch!
The title of this anime pretty much tells you what kind of anime you will be watching. There are tears and laughter when Im watching this. But, I can actually relate to this anime of how I will be feeling when your " a year behind " in HS. This is very cute anime that I ever watch and I love it. Sadly it ended so soon.

  • Cute slice of life anime
This anime was very cute. With all the characters, and the friendships it was pretty fun to watch. I hope for more, because I'd love to see the truth be told and how they react, because you know it'd be with acceptance. I really enjoyed this season and would recommend for anyone looking for a HS Slice of Life

    Decent anime to watch.
Enjoyed the anime very well. First thing to catch my eye was the animation style they used made the characters movement feel more fluid then other static still animation.

Curious to see how the characters develop and seems like a nice anime to watch for the beginning of 2018

The first review because why not?
    It's okay?

Yeah, it's pretty okay. It's cute. They introduce us to five characters right off the bat and proceed to spend like a quarter of the episode telling us their names and the meaning behind them, which I'd say is not the greatest way to introduce your characters to an audience in the first episode.

I can't say I expect a very deep plot out of this, but it sure ain't bad. It could get ...
