Slice of life, on the cute side
A girl severely lacking in self-confidence joins high school a year late, and is befriended by three girls from her class.
At first I was concerned about the fanservice moment that hit about 17 seconds into the first episode, but after the initial bit, it calmed down a lot. After that the fanservice was very subtle.
Heavy emphasis on the cute factor in this series. There are some genuinely funny ...

    The Title is Accurate
Just a laid back and simple show that perfectly captures the atmosphere of hanging out with your friends. It kinda reminds me of a more grounded Azumanga Daioh, which is absolutely something I want. I predict there will be tears when this show ends.

It may not seem like much, but i'm sure it will pick up later on, it just has a... Slow Start.

    Good Cute Anime to Watch
This is anime is a typical slice of life affair which isn't a bad thing to take it slow and watch something cute like this it is nice and relaxing. There are very likable characters with their own cute quirks. The premise of a girl starting highschool a year late and trying to cover embarrassment. And there are several funny moments and the animation is really nice to look at too~

  • Super Cute Factor - 10/10
Extremely cute and likable characters. Plot is easy to follow and a lot of the girls' plights are easy to relate to. The romantic aspects don't get a lot of attention and it's just subtle hints here and there, given I guess Eiko is the only one with a serious romantic sub-plot. Only reason it gets a four in my book. Just lots of loose ends or stuff that gets shown briefly, then ignored or only ...

  • Slow start,slow middle,slow end
The title is only half right, this series drags on and on. The whole point to the show could be resolved in like three minutes in reality so stretching it out for 12 episodes seems like a torture. And the relationship between one of main characters friends and her teacher is very inappropriate, know your bounds people.

Annoying and boring, even for this genre
I like slice of life shows. Sign me up for A Place Further than the Universe, K-On, Minami-ke, and even New Game!; but this was both boring and annoying. The voice of the lead character is cloying and inappropriate for a high-schooler (all the random sounds she makes, no one makes random noises like that for every expression). And although I understand this was published in a seinen magazine, ...

  • A little cute Anime, but not only that.
"Slow Start" is a typical "slice of life" - nichijou-kei anime, but not only that. A little secret is life-or-death problem for a teenager. Just to choose first cloth by yourself, just to go out for festival your friends is a big adventure. This show draws those youthful excitement with fear vividly - not just cute high-school girls laugh and having fun all the time, but not too seriously. I like ...

  • 4.5 star adorableness
Everything about this show is cute.
    The characters are cute
    The setups are cute

There are quite a few tropes and cliches but overall it is a relaxing and silly show that helps you wind down after a long day. I liked the art style and the characters.

  • Very interesting to watch!
The title of this anime pretty much tells you what kind of anime you will be watching. There are tears and laughter when Im watching this. But, I can actually relate to this anime of how I will be feeling when your " a year behind " in HS. This is very cute anime that I ever watch and I love it. Sadly it ended so soon.
