Soulmate is just remarkable with an amazing soundtrack...
My friend was asking advice for what drama she should watch and when I stumble on a certain link to Soulmate, I got very curious (or really bored). The small opening sequence was intriguing, having suddenly showing partially nude characters to me but the music covered up nicely. At first, I knew I was going to expect some sappy, typical, romance story to this drama and which I did, but I seriously ...

    All Fears Cast Aside
I'll be honest. I've only seen a handful of Asian dramas but I hear that once you start you just can't stop, and that seems to be the truth enough for me. My obsession started with Bad Couple, blazed through Coffee Prince and now has landed on Soulmate's doorstep.

Going into it, I realize I was not prepared for the emotional impact that Soulmate would have on me. Like many people, I'd asked ...

    Soulmate? Fall in love
I'll be honest, when i first began to watch this show i thought:

"Eh..another show about people falling in love and being destined for each other."

But after having watched the complete series i must tell you that i have fallen in love with this show! I truly do love it, the characters are all so seperate in the beginning and i just loved how they all came together in the end. They all grew ...

Now this is what I call a good drama
Short review: WATCH THIS SHOW NOW!!!
Long review: Lets break it down by the ratings

    Acting
Very good, most dramas nowadays offset horrible acting by using boy band members the chicks cant get enough of, I'm happy the actors they choose actually could act. But there are a few characters that simply CAN'T act, I give the nod to mostly good acting ...

    Brilliant Soundtrack Compliments Soulmate...
Thoughtful analysis of romantic relationships from every point of view ( I like how they shuffle through the future and back to the present). Funny..... because it made silly jokes that are easy to relate with. The characters were acted out perfectly to suit the mood and style of the drama (which sometimes means they overact, but it makes for good comedy) Most Korean dramas are quite predictable ...

"Soulmate" is my soul mate... ^.^
I've seen quite a few Korean dramas, but none has caught my attention as much as "Soulmate" has! It' a refreshing break from the heavy, serious-sided shows and has lovable (and hate-able) characters and great music! This is definitely a comedy, but also a great tear-jerker. I think of it as a more romance-centered version of BBC's "Coupling" - with better-looking actors. :P

    I strongly ...

    An excellent exploration of relationships
Accompanied by one of the best soundtracks I've heard on a television drama, Soulmate is an in depth exploration of relationships and the connections that people have. With acting that is at times over-the-top corny and others poignant and real, the characters manage to accurately portray the entire range of emotions people feel in various situations and relationships in a way that will ...

    Director trashed the timeline
My one major critique for "Soulmate" is the director's abuse of time line sequencing for scenes. The pacing of the drama changes dramatically after the "climatic meeting" and it NEVER goes back. It's basically like going for a bike ride through a meadow then suddenly hitting a massive down-slope. Although the series is marked at having 21 episodes, they were so short at times it felt like I was ...

Not typical at all. Just very well made. C=
I totally and irrevocably enjoyed this series. =3 I loved how the episodes were shorter than most, which is a big plus. I also enjoyed the characters' lovable natures. It wasn't just Yu-jin that was lovable. =3

    I don't really understand ...
