A Bit Lacking in Time and Depth
This series has good and bad points, but I feel the negative outweigh the good.
The palette is straight out of the late 1990s. This incredibly retro feel is a good point for me, because I still love that era, but it may turn some people off as archaic.

The episode length appears to be only three minutes. I'm not sure what you would use this for, part of a composite show with multiple ...

  • Funny and Strange; Fascinating and Leaves You Wanting More
This series was one I stumbled upon and started to watch because the episodes were short. It turned out to be a very amusing series, with characters well-developed in the short time they were given. I felt like I had a taste of the interesting setting and premise, and it also gave the impression of greater depth than the 3-minute episode length was able to fully convey.

    There were plenty of ...

I WISH THERE WERE MORE LIKE THIS!
Each episode is only 3 minutes in duration and although the only setting is the hotel, every episode takes on a totally different premise. The writing is clever, as the show pokes fun at anime cliches very often. I really hope there's a follow-up to this some day or the same makers do something else that is constantly changing and upbeat like this.

    I watched every ...

    only one problem, art
Okay I don't know what they're trying to pull off with this show. At the start of the show the art style was terrible. It looked like they were trying do a sailor moon style but ended up with shin-chan. they did improve it but its still not perfect

    Love the classic style.
These are like little comic strip shorts surrounding a downtown hotels staff.
The main character is a fighter of unmatched stength but cute and innocent. She acts as the bouncer and keeps troublemakers away from the hotel. The supporting cast has your usual flair; a unmarried manager feeling her clock ticking, her smoooth talking brother/manager, 4-eyes, the normal-ish clerk, and the inept hotel ...

Really not that bad a show
Like others have mentioned, it's really not that bad, It's a 3 minute anime to include the credits. Seems like some people where expecting war and peace or something. Each skit tackles a very small subset of the going ons of a hotel in a humorous way with what can be only described as an ex super spy ninja.

Not bad, just not amazing either
I just watched 7 episodes back-to-back (kind of hard not to lol) & it really isn't as bad as people are saying. The fact is: IT'S A 3 MIN ANIME. Meaning: There's not gonna be a lot of character and story development. Don't look for that here and get upset when you don't see it, that one was your fault. It's cute/funny show, slightly jumpy (not like what the cover picture implies, everyone is ...

    Good for a 2 1/2 minute comedy
Sparrow's Hotel is one of those shows that benefits from its limitations, with older style of animation and a three minute run time, it keeps keeps itself from over doing any joke, falling into needless drama, and having any boring parts. Though the biggest problem with the show is that it is only two and a half minutes long, not long enough to actually be drawn into it, and have a good set peace. ...

Fun show that I wish was longer
I really have enjoyed this. It's a nice little bit of entertainment. I'd love to see them expand the concept to a 30 minute show, but as it is, it's still worth a watch. I would definitely call it my favorite short form show, and gave it 5 stars according to how I rank it against other 3 minute anime, and not comparing apples to oranges and ranking it against 30 minute anime.
