Noragami, but with no charm, bad animation, bad sound design, poorly written and annoying characters, and the most forced plot I've ever seen (Still Bad After Episode 2)
Here's a video version if you don't want to read 700 words! https://youtu.be/JDqb2CrJ8eI

*imagine one of those "Bee Movie, but everytime" videos, but for SpiritPact

Spiritpact, but every time this show makes me want to die, the episode speeds up...

Oh wait, the video would be too fast for anyone after the first 10 seconds because that's how bad this series ...

    80's/90's 'kid' weighing in
This isn't an official anime coming from Japan, so it is going look and feel different. To me, it just feels like it is a few decades behind in quality and style.

While not to today's higher standards. I think the style is endearing and reminds me of old-school anime. 80's/90's and prior. This pacing and form/style of silliness would not be out of place either back then. It also would have been ...

There are problems, but I think most of them are due to the transition.
This basically the Japanese Dub of a Manhua anime that came out last year. A few got lost when this happened.

Firstly, these episodes are 24 minutes long. The original episodes were only about 15 minutes long. The animators have attempted to fit two of these shorter episodes into one longer one, and it kind of suffers because of this. Everything's a bit choppy and honestly it's a little all ...

Charming Donghua Centered Around the Relationship of the Two Male Leads
Expect very mild spoilers in this review.

Known as "Ling Qi" in Chinese (and more commonly translated as Soul Contract), Spiritpact is a supernatural series that centers around the growing relationship between the two male protagonists. The series is humorous and lighthearted, but becomes more serious in the latter half of the show. You can expect a lot of homoerotic subtext throughout the ...

Easily worst show of 2017 opening block
I usually don't beat up on shows but this Chinese imitation of anime (we get the Japanese dub here) had such choppy animation and ill paced writing, I actually felt compelled to warn others to stay away. If you need something to fall asleep to this may be it, but basically viewer beware.

So far so good. I really like it.
Maybe I'm just really easily amused but I'm having a blast watching this. I think its funny as hell. You Keika is snarky and adorable. I don't get the bad reviews for this show. It's only been two episodes but I'm loving it. - And why do you have to write an essay to get a review posted?

The Main Character is a horrible person. I like it.
I don't have too much to say. I guess I'll have to edit this review once the show has concluded(NOTE:This review has been edited since I've now finished the series.) since I'm reviewing the first episode...Anyway I liked it, and I want to make an early review.

The story kicks off when Keika You(The Heroine) is killed by Truck-san.(Yep, it's one of those) He then meets up with an exorcist that ...

    Form Your Own Opinion
Is it the best first episode? No. Is it the worst? Definitely not. But it was still enjoyable to me. I feel people are being a little over critical about this anime. I am by no means an anime expert but I have watched way more than the average person. I look forward to the next episode!

A Chinese anime translated into Japanese; an interesting premise, interesting plot, good character development, sub-par animation
I didn't get the totally negative impression a lot of the other reviewers did. I agree that the animation lacks fluidity by today's standards, however, it had an engaging storyline and it's Chinese dubbed into Japanese with English subtitles, so the mouth movements don't match up well. For the main protagonist to die within the first minute of a series takes some guts. The first battle he fights ...

I love this anime. Dont judge it too soon.
I seen the original with the Chinese voices, and I love it. Shouldn't be judging just after 1 or 2 episodes. Honestly this is more of a bond and or trust between a spirit and his contractor and their battles with other evil spirits and within themselves. Also this anime is base on an still ongoing chinese web manga, as by the time I post this review. And to add this has somewhat of an Shounen-Ai ...
