Wasn't sure at first, but then I got hooked on it....
Mildly shounen ai, and yes--it took a little while for the lead character to grow on me, but before I knew it I found myself binge-watching to the end! Now I really want to know more about Ki's history and to see how things progress between him and Keika! Here's hoping we get a second season to answer some of those questions.

  • Hidden Gem That's Worth a Watch!
The majority of complaints I've seen about this show is that:
A,) it's gaaaaaaaaaaaaaay (not that there's anything wrong with that lol; repeated x1000 ad infinitum until they feel better about having said so)
    and
B.) Pacing is off for the first few episodes; focuses too heavily on introducing characters and plot lines

And I have to agree with the last one, but only for the first 3 ...

  • Beautiful story got rushed
Spiritpact (Spirit Contract/Linq Qi) is a beautiful tale that definitely deserved a good anime adaption but even though I loved the way the characters were brought to life it feels like 10 episodes wasnt enough and the story got rushed severely.
missed chance for a lengthy show with a second season.

I just want more okay, I love Keika.

  • It Is Very predictable
I like the show and at first I found it interesting but I found myself growing board with it. The story makes you feel completely sorry for the main character and as the story goes on you just can't help but to pity him more and more. I mean how much bad luck can one person suffer through in one day. I feel like things did happen a little to fast, they could have stretched out the main characters ...

  • This anime was great
This anime was a great anime, to me the story line was very original, I think they got into the characters enough to leave you wanting to know more about them. I think this season was more of a little taste. I honestly enjoyed the story line between you and tanmouku (Idk how to spell his name lol) it was funny, sad, uplifting and amazing, there were a few annoying moment but every anime has them ...

  • Absolutely loved this show
They called it Shounen-ai, but it's really not. If you're not into that thing, don't let the tag scare you. It's more like a violent "how I met you" of two best friends. I was totally wrapped up in it from beginning to end. The animation is beautiful, the voice acting is entrancing, and the story is addictive. The only bad thing is that there isn't more.

  • It wasn't actually that bad
The show transitioned slowly, unevenly or lingered too long. The ending was a super un-fulfilling ending personally but I actually enjoyed the show altogether needless to say. This wasn't a bad watch but I wish there were more to it or more action in the entire series.

  • Funny, quirky and interesting but needs more time to develop the story
The story has funny moments but deals with some deeper topics; add a little fujoshi fan service and a unique story line. I enjoyed it but it felt rushed. I think it needs more like 24 episodes to fully develop the relationship between shadow and master. There is deeper meaning in their relationship and I want to see how they change and grow together. My favorite scene is the ceremony of him ...

  • So Bad That It's Good
There are some anime that grip your heartstrings and change your world--shows that change your perspective on the human condition by delving into the depths of human relationships. Spiritpact is not one of those shows.

You Keika, our protagonist, is a guy in his mid-twenties who always seems to be down on his luck. Things get even more unfortunate for our loud-mouthed lead after he ...
