Stein;s Gate - Awesome in it's pure form!
Stein's; Gate shows us a story about crazy ambitious young man whose dream is creating a real time-machine. Although Rintaro Okabe is a self-proclaimed scientist, he has a small team that helps him in realizing his abnormal ideas (time machine is the most important, but not the least).

The anime has a really weird opening, so do not judge the whole series by the first look. Although you can ...

  • Stein's Gate; A New Breed
Stein's Gate was an anime that really went places I never saw an anime go before. The door for an anime like this was opened by one of any chess player's favorites; Death Note. This new breed I'm talking about is an anime that makes the watcher think and think hard. Maybe even watch a scene over a few times to really wrap his head around the concept.

This new breed of anime isn't ...

  • Steins;Gate, for this timeline and the next.
Overall this is probably one of the best, if not the best, anime I have ever watched. The story, characters, suspense, and plot twists are enough to keep you going all night, yet are still grounded in a firm plausible reality. This is often challenging enough, but throw in time manipulation and it becomes all the more critical.

The story is exceedingly well written. While handling the complex ...

    Red Pyramid Thing Reviews Steins;Gate
    Weird.
…yes. Weird. Two recommendations from The Escapist turn out to be interesting yet both have similar qualities in which it starts off looking mediocre with hints that something is off until around the conclusion of episode three in which shit gets real and the plot really begins to move. Since this is also a fairly new anime, I wonder if that’s a recurring trend.

    Now this review of ...

    An Anime Like No Other
In recent years, I can't help but feel that the realm of anime has hit a point of utter stagnation. True, there have been well-produced shows, but many of these fall into the background, overcome by the flood of the extremely-overrated (not to bash any fans, but a great example would be the Pokemon series. C'mon people, just leave it as a game) and constantly recycled. From mecha-animes with ...

  • Amazing for a lack of a better word.
It's hard to make a review without spoiling the story, but I'll start out with general opinions, and I'll do spoilers at the end for those who have already watched it.

When I saw the first few minutes of the first episode, I thought I was going to like it. Bright, crisp, beautiful colors and lines. That's a big plus for me as I hate to watch ugly drawings (Beavis and Butthead, The Wild ...

Honestly the best series i've seen in a while
This is, and i do not jest. One of my favorite anime's to date, including eva, ruroni and the kenshin ova's.

It has a unique art style that nether deviates nor personifies the mainstream anime in a stylistic sense. the animation is incredibly smooth and looks highly polished.

As someone who never played the game i was intrigued with the seemingly slapstick beginnings.

    The characters are ...

    Steins;Gate - My Thoughts
Normally, I'm usually half paying attention to what's going on/what the characters are saying in a sci-fi anime. Steins;Gate however, was able to fully grab my attention, helping me understand what was going on.

Right from the start Steins;Gate had my attention with it's storyline. Just when I start to think a problem is solved another problem arrives, and just when I start to think things ...

  • Makes you go "Hmmmm?"
One of the better makes you think story lines, I found myself cheering on the Evil Scientist as he drove the people around him, and himself, MAD. The vision he had made me giggle like I too was MAD. As the plot moved you grew to love watching him just try to stay ahead of the growing darkness, and you felt for his Losses. The ending was a WIN even tho I wished it never would. I encourage you to ...
