Guns and Dolls take to the sky
I had some mixed feelings about Strike Witches and the second season. It had all the fun of guns and dolls action anime and the fan service to go with it. The Diesel Punk or Gear Punk style it combined with high flying action.
Only 2 things that left me conflicted was the sheer fact that three of the main characters seemed like they were lolli ten year olds. That combined with the fact they had ...

Cool but had some minor tweaks
I love this anime and I love the manga even more. The manga was one of the most detailed expansive manga's I'd ever seen! They had stories that didn't center around the 501rst this was almost Gundam or Star Trek level expansive franchise.
I Don't fault the anime for centering around just the 501rst. it was the fact that the show needed more episode and time to dedicate to the other characters ...

    Nose art gals with guns
There were a couple gals they made look a little too lolli young for a Babes and Guns anime like this one. But I really gotta say Pin Up Girls flying in Diesel Punk fliers couldn't get more fun than that.
The only problem other then 1 or 2 gals looking younger than they shoulda been was this whole "Feel Sorry for the Axis" jargon that kept repeating through out the series. They didn't fully ...

Strike Witches 2 : the generation after
The protagonist, Yoshika Miyafuji, was dispatched from the Fuso Empire to Europe. She brilliantly succeeded in defeating the Neuroi in Gallia and made many friends along the way. The members of the 501st Joint Allied Wing, more commonly known as the Strike Witches, have been enjoying six months of peace in Europe after the end of Season 1. But suddenly, the Neuroi appear anew! In order to protect ...

If you're looking for a proper modern girly girl anime that's multi genre the stay tuned to Strike Witches. its anime about girls by girls for girls but all the action adventure and fan service pull guys in completely. the only thing I wished they do was give alot more face time to Charlotte (Shirley), Trude and Eila they were just as interesting they didn't have time to play them up. so ...

A great Anime despite it's shortcomings
This anime had some shortcomings going in but I still had some fun. First, its shortcomings. Strike Witches seasons 2 felt like a "take two" of season 1. Its not that it didn't have too many characters it mismanaged its characters and failed the get the airtime needed create an anime long enough to develop and apply those characters. So some of the more unique characters never got developed. last ...

Definitely one of the better girl animes
Despite a couple shortcomings Strike Witches delivered in being one of the best Girly Girl Genre Animes in its class. I enjoyed it more than Sailor Moon and that's saying something. Much of that comes from the fact that Strike Witches in the same way that Rozen Maiden (The Original Rozen Maiden Anime) created an anime that managed to go beyond its genre and crossed into other genres pulling in ...

    Up up and... well... okay...
This was came as a sort of dream in the making. Turning anime chicks into WW2 nose art dames, you couldn't ask for more... but you could...
Because Strike Witches premised as a story that for a time took place in our history for a time. until something turned it into an alternate universe story army of strange unknown entities known as the Neuroi appeared in the skies and attacked and destroyed ...

Miyafuji, Lynnette, & Perinne Save the Day.
The Third chapter was a study in how hard it is to unlearn something, Miyafuji, Lynnette, & even Perinne Closterman where having trouble in their training, with their stanima, and flying techniques, So Major Mio Sakamoto sent the three to the elder witch, (Which it seems that trained the Major).
At first, it was extremeily hard for them to control the "Brooms ", But with proper instruction, ...
