    Great start, disappointing End
I don't normally write reviews, not yet anyway, but I just had to write one for this one. Not because I really enjoyed this series, but because I'm just confused about how much praise it's gotten. Don't get me wrong, this series is fairly enjoyable especially within the first 3 Episodes. But after those 3 episodes I had no idea where the main plot went. This anime starts off strong and ...

    Excellent premise, mediocre execution.
Decided to watch Sunday Without God this weekend. Two words came to mind near the end of the show, squandered potential. The show has a captivating premise; God has abandoned the world he/she/it created, in doing so the remaining humans are no longer capable of dying or reproducing. God's last act of mercy was to bestow upon the earth beings known as Gravekeepers, they are the only things that can ...

Dark, Mysterious, Zombies, Sunday without God -Review
Having only watched the first episode, I can say I have no idea where this anime is going to go, all I can say is it was thoroughly enjoyable. I'll try to highlight all I saw in the first episode.

As always there will be spoilers in this review.

Started out strong, it went downhill from there.
With the exception of 1 episode the structure of this show is 2-3 episode arcs, which i imagine are the length of one of the series light novels each. I love this format, and the first two arcs are fantastic, exactly what i expected from the show. We are introduced to a great main character who is thrown into extreme circumstances and we are introduced to two (although quite bland) supporting cast ...

    started off great, but...
This show had so much potential. First three episodes had me hooked, then it just kind of went into mediocrity. Just kinda blah after that. Not horrible, but just blah.

If anything, watch the first three episodes and then be done with it.. Those 3 alone make it worth it though.

    This Anime has SERIOUS potential
The beginning of the anime was nice and fluid, containing mystery and many characters that you'll soon meet, with unique personalities and unique appearances as well. But, once this anime hit Episode 3, I knew this was going to be one of the best animes, and one I'd look forward to every Tuesday. Not only that, but the graphical visuals of the anime are the ABSOLUTE best thus far, you won't be ...

Touching and heartfelt but at the same time dark and a little twisted
Sunday Without God definitely isnt your average anime. It surprises you with little twists and turns, makes you fall in love with characters who are only in the series only for one episode, it truly shows you how children see the world, full of hope and optimism, even if their life if doomed to be covered in nothing but the darkness... In other words very cute, very heartfelt and touching.

Not what I expected.... eps 3 actually had me with a few tears! Not fair SWG!!! Not fair at all!!
Oh God, it's so GOOD!!! It's a combination of happy, funny, sad, sweet, dark(ish), cute, mixed with a dash of violence and a hint of rudeness- bringing this anime to the forefront of my current favorites. It's quick to draw you in, get you attatched to the characters and swept away into the storyline. The beautiful artwork is an undeniable bonus to the telling of the characters and their ...

    Sunday with lots of Moe
In a world where people are dead, they lived again, a world where logic has no power.

Ai Astin is a young grave-keeper born with a mission to save the world by digging graves, she thought she knew everything, but as her adventures rolls onward she is less certain- maybe there's no need to save them- they look so much at ease, she believes that the world is suffering from being kept alive and ...
