  • Started off Strong - went so wrong
A great, but arguably used up premise to begin with - yet I thought this went about the whole 'trapped in a game oh no' shtick in a new and exciting way. Unfortunately the writers sputtered only a handful of episode in; the show turned into quality matched only by Bleach or Naruto filler.

    Incredibly disappointing.

All in all - had some flashy neat fight scenes, a couple characters one could ...

Sword Art Online: Slowly Lose The Story
A game where you can't leave and you only get one life before the game kills you IRL. A great idea, and was implemented to a T for its beginning. Then... the story changed. I'm not going to give a spoiler, but if you watched/ will watch, you will know exactly what point the writers lost the plot. Actually, it's more of they finished the main plot most people were interested in, then moved to a ...

Alluring By Personal Taste But Not To Be Loosely Recommended
THERE WILL BE SPOILERS - THERE WILL BE SPOILERS - THERE WILL BE SPOILERS - THERE WILL BE SPOILERS

I watched this show shortly after it was released in 2012 but dropped after about 2 episodes. However in 2014 I got back into it by recommendation from my Mother and Poppi out of intellectual curiosity. Upon finishing the first series it went on to become one of my favorite anime titles ever. ...

    Don't waste your time
I watched the first season and it took me a month to figure out why it was so bad. The premise seemed cool but the way it was executed was broken. Kirito has way too muxh plot armor I mean there is an episode

Giving it Another 5 Star Review!
This series deserves 5 stars. The premise is fascinating, the characters are engaging, and the artwork is beautiful. It made me laugh, cry, and creeped me out at times... amazing series.

I will say that the second season is not as good (probably more like 4 stars), but the first season is fantastic, and it deserves 5 stars!

    One word: Frustrating
First off, this only gets a '3' because of the second season. Personally, SAO II has something actually going for it. But I'll get to that later.

So, I'm not sure why I wasted my time with this one. This show has been out for the best part of 4 years, and I've only just gotten to it. I wanted to see what the whole (controversial) fuss was about, so I took it on myself to investigate. And boy do ...

My Second favorite of all time
When I watched the original Berserk about 15 years ago, I thought nothing would ever touch it. This has been the closest liking to Berserk that I have come across. The idea is fantastic, music is amazing, directing is amazing, and i really fell in love with the concept and design. The show is brilliantly thought out and everything makes sense.

IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THIS WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

    Absolute favorite anime
Hands down the best anime around in its genre. Future science fiction with virtual reality games and how the human psyche would be impacted. This is what most of the show centers around for Season one as tens of thousands of players are stuck in a virtual world with no way out except to die or beat the game. Each arc has a different viewpoint on the types of VR environments and how people ...

    Great Until Ep. 15...
This anime is fantastic..... Until Episode 15-16. The characters were overall pretty interesting (minus probably Kirito as he's just a BIT too OP, and bland for that matter), music is good, it looks nice, and the premise was absolutely fantastic, but the execution was ALL off. Ok, maybe that was an exaggeration, as this show does it all correctly until 15... Well what happens at 15? Basically the ...

Came for the plot, did not disappoint
Sword Art Online has masterfully constructed a vibrant setting that just captivates every viewer and pulls them into its premise. The plot is a twist on the genre of anime based on the main character being trapped MMORPGs. Our protagonist Kirito is not only charming but also dynamic in how he exhibits emotion throughout the show. His thoughts are logical and mimic how your average teenager would ...
