    Classy Focus Upon Characterization
And how risky is it to write a series review after viewing just one episode? But that one episode was so powerful, and so good, that here I am. [The short version: beautiful and touching!] This show seems to promise a focus upon characterization, offering real emotional depth. These characters are truly present in their lives--and each others'--and we the audience are the proverbial ...

A very beautiful anime to get away from it all
I literally cried watching this series. In the short minutes I had watching each episode, I still managed to connect to each character and each situation that passed. As everyone has said on these reviews, you are going to cry, but it's not a sad cry. It's a happy cry...a peaceful, content cry. You should definitely watch this anime. Well worth the time.

    Stories for the heart.
This is a series of independent short stories coming in at around 7 minutes that go straight for the heart. It's in the motion comic style, but the story each tells is strong enough to overcome or even benefit from this format.

Each tale is completely separate in the telling, but still tied together through our common experiences. Ranging from gentle remembrance to stinging regret, these ...

  • A truly sweet life story
I wasn't sure what to expect when I saw this anime come up. I liked the difference of style and the way it conveyed emotion. From beginning to end it was a very sweet tale about life and it all ties together in the end. It will take you less than 32 minutes to watch the entire series, but it is a must watch.

Evolution of things people take for granted
Now critically this anime is smart, psychological and emotional all at the same time. The topics it covers in the four episodes are something everyone deals with eventually. Loss, regret, moving on in life and passing the torch are all very well done.

I'm giving it a 4 and not 5 mainly because the dialogue was a little too simple at times as well as plot points feeling rushed because of the 7 ...

This Series Does Not Lack In Emotion
As someone who tries to make short films from time to times I can honestly say that my goal is to perfect the art of making the short film, and that is to capture the raw emotion of human nature. I thought that I was pretty good at it and then I watched this series. Now I must go back and rethink all I have learned and would recommend that if there are any university professors that teach film ...

A bit too sentimental for my tastes
Tabimachi Lateshow is artfully done, and I can see why it struck a chord with people. But personally, it just didn't stick with me. I'm more into story and characters first, theme/point second, however Tabimachi puts the themes first, story/characters second. Not a bad way to tell a tale, just not my thing.
