    Dark Horse Potential
This may be the dark horse of summer 2016 with ufotable level artwork and animation combined with great choreographed fights and an interesting premise, this could shape up to be an amazing show. Since or Mc is already strong this should be all action of the rip.

    Lots of Potential...
The anime doesn't start off different from most anime's in the action genre (random person taken down by mysterious vigilante who we figure is shown shortly after --> MC waking up --> MC finds character of opposite sex who argues a lot or is strange in some way or another --> MC like "What why so cruel?" and doesn't see the character for X amount of time whilst not getting an answer --> MC ...

Your Mama Told You Not To!
Taboo Tattoo has begun as a brooding yet rollicking tale of international espionage and violence. When Seigi saves a stranger from being mugged, the victim repays him by gifting him with a strange tattoo. . .which just happens to be a stolen American secret weapon! His possession of this item, however, doesn't stay secret for long, and Seigi's life is about to become very interesting. If ...

Initial Impressions of the Show [UPDATE _ s1e4]
Written after episode 1 of season 1.

Strong male protagonist, trained in martial arts rather brutally by his grandfather. Driven by strong sense of justice inherited from his late father, the hero doesn't hesitate to help. As mentioned in the first minutes of the episode, the phrase "curiosity killed the cat," his eagerness to help gets him gifted a power that is more trouble than one thinks. ...

    Enjoyable, Much Potential.
Just based on Episode 1. It's enjoyable enough, definitely liked the artstyle, animation and the fight scenes were executed well, the humor was enjoyable and the plot is generic enough but what can I say, I love me some fanservice & EDGY MCs so bring it.

This anime is so far so good
Good anime, one of the most interesting anime that I have seen so far. This probably follows all the other anime's with the main character being the strongest. So I will give it a 5 star for now as the first episode was quite interesting and funny. Lucky this anime came out at the right time as nearly all the anime that I have been watching have finished.
I hope this anime is not just a one trick ...

    Edited following Episode 5
TL;DR Big Order with a different, more idiotic coat of paint. Can that be a thing? That's a thing now.

It's just the same worn-over shonen male power fantasy you've seen a hundred times before, only this time it's got a tattoo fetish. Generic hero boy gets weird power, fights alongside and against other characters with weird powers while attending high school and gets mixed up in a secret plot ...

Well animated and ably done execution of an unoriginal premise.
In terms of abstract description of Taboo Tatto brings little new to the table with its introductory episode. The beats are familiar and characters so far fit neatly into types you've seen before. The poster having a 3:1 female to male ratio suggests a harem aspect. The titular tattoos could be replaced with any number of superpower premises and lo our hero possesses an extra special (so probably ...

Initial Impression (After the First Episode)
Taboo Tattoo was a bit of a mixed bag for me after the first episode, and to be completely honest, I don't really know how to feel about it. On the one hand, I can tell there is a fair amount of potential in the show, and the art style and animation are both well composed and entertaining to watch. It also had a few moments of comedy which, while I wasn't busting a gut laughing, made me crack a ...

    Nothing to see here.
We've seen this a thousand and one times before, it's the same characters in the same setting doing the same things, just this time with tattoos.

The generic MC is special and gets this special tattoo that is obviously very special compared to all other tattoos and gives him super powers that are for some reason legendary and rare, that everyone would drop their pants for.

    The main character ...
