Very cute, a little stupid, but hilarious.

Okay so the only reason why I watched this was because it got a horrible review. Stupid, huh? But I'm glad that I did. Milky Holmes does have your basic moe in there, but it's hilarious and I just fell in love with it.
Characters:
The four main characters are pretty stupid, ESPECIALLY the main character. Seriously. But they do the most hilarious things that no matter how stupid I say ...

Okay so the only reason why I watched this was because it got a horrible review. Stupid, huh? But I'm glad that I did. Milky Holmes does have your basic moe in there, but it's hilarious and I just fell in love with it.
Characters:
The four main characters are pretty stupid, ESPECIALLY the main character. Seriously. But they do the most hilarious things that no matter how stupid I say they are, I couldnt help but fall in love with them. Besides the four main characters, I think the side characters are also extremely funny and unique.
Music:
Catchy opening, but not much else there. You dont really notice it at all.
Storyline:
Its basically their everyday adventures trying to get their powers back. Luckily, there's something unique in store for you every episode.
Animation:
Very, very good. Smooth battles, cute art, and beautiful scenery~
Overall, I loved Milky Holmes (most of the time) and it's worth a try. <3

One of the funniest spoof anime of the season

When I first saw the description of this show I was a bit meh .. but after having watched so far and having spent my time laughing so much I almost cried this has to be one of the funniest spoof shows I've seen for a long while.

Quite frankly Milky Holmes is stupid, ridiculous and has the oddest and sometimes downright perverted fan service I have seen, but it never fails to make me laugh. ...

When I first saw the description of this show I was a bit meh .. but after having watched so far and having spent my time laughing so much I almost cried this has to be one of the funniest spoof shows I've seen for a long while.

Quite frankly Milky Holmes is stupid, ridiculous and has the oddest and sometimes downright perverted fan service I have seen, but it never fails to make me laugh. It's a show that is constantly poking fun at all the different anime stereotypes out there by stretching those stereotypes to the extreme just so see where they will go.

It has a great list of characters that play against each other well. We have the stupid Moe detectives who really could not detect their way out of a paper bag. We have the cops with the Harvard girl with an IQ of 1300 (or so she says). We have the gentlemen thieves.. and o boy are they out there, especially Twenty!

So if you want a laugh and don't mind some very off colour jokes and some very strange characters then you really have to check this out.

Storyline: The storyline kept you going but sometimes let you down. In the end it leaves it as a really good cliffhanger though, but the part about them loosing there toys was good in some ways but bad in others. Luckily to make up for that, they are making a second season in Winter 2012.
Music: The theme song was very catchy and I also noticed the other songs in the series but not as much as ...

Music: The theme song was very catchy and I also noticed the other songs in the series but not as much as the theme song. The only down side of the theme song is that the songs sound detstracts you a little from the pictures, but luckily only alittle bit.
Characters: Well, sure the main characters were a little dumb, but if you see in a lot of other anime's the main character is either dumb or retarded. Although that's what makes them more interesting. The other characters were very noticable too, with all the Inque personalty's of each character. I also liked how they didn't completely only focus on the main characters. Everybody was treated equally so you get to know them all great. Of course this doesn't happen in the actual anime plot.
Animation: Well, Most animation is really good but I like this one quite greatly. The main part I like is how their costumes match their personality.
Overall: This is a great show but has some downsides.
P.S. don't let children under the age of 13 watch this There is some content not suitable.

Tantei Opera Milky Holmes is a very interesting anime.
I ranked it all 5s because I wanted it to move up in the rankings.
But it was not one of the best animes I've watched.
It would've been better if the main characters didn't lose their powers.

I'm a big fan of classic mysteries, and Milky Holmes grabbed me almost entirely out of morbid curiosity -- because really I'm not a big fan of the 'moe.' Overall it was cute, with enough sly literary references to keep me entertained. I'm not sure I'd own it on DVD, or even give it a second watch, but it was a nice little diversion and I don't feel as though my time was wasted.

No offense but it really should be. I was watching this with my 10 year-old sister and she has no idea about the things said in this anime, so I had to evade her questions about "those" things.

It was good, really, but the storyline looked like it was cut short and I was not really impressed.

The music was really good! I've been humming along to the ending theme song for days. :D

The cahracters...HMM...let's see. Yes, I agree with some reviewers that why did they make them TOO air-headed?

Animation was fine. Milky Holmes is comedic, it gives viewers a nice daily laugh, but please, the "PG" things. And, I was looking for a little romance to complete the show, romance always does it. (I was hoping for NeroxNezu... (=3=))

I hope there's a season two, though. I'd like the comedy to live on.

First of all, I love the characters...the four main characters is so cute...Second is that I don't like the ending, for me it looks like that it is still unfinished....and also I'm searching for a little romance in the story but it looks like it doesn't have any....

Have you ever read or watched a story in which there would be no plot if the main character(s) wasn't an absolute moron? If you have not nor want to, than I suggest you stay away from this show. Almost all the comedy is based around the stupidity of the main characters. The main villain is the only interesting person here. If you must watch this I recommend watching episode 3 or 7 as those are ...
