Just because it has tantei in the title...
OK so the sole reason I watched this was because it has 'tantei' in the title. Might sound weird, but there's a reason for it.
Tantei means 'detective' so I was expecting some sort of mystery. I thought they would be detectives. Sure, cute and entirely moronic detectives. But detectives all the same.
    How sadly disappointing.
There is almost no element of mystery or intrigue in this show. ...

Goofball Cute Girls = Perfect anime
Definitely not what I was expecting getting into this show ( was expecting serious mahou shojo) but it turned out to be hilarious and fun. My favorite is Cordelia but all the girls have lovable qualities. The villains are great too, even Twenty! We really need season 2 on CR!

    A seriously weird anime
I'm not even sure what to say. It's not what I was expecting, that's for sure (I thought it'd be a pretty straightforward shoujo kinda in the veins of Shugo Chara, Skip Beat, maybe even some typical school life animes). After watching 8 episodes, I think I'm slowly beginning to appreciate the show more, and actually find some humor in it. It's true that most of the characters are complete cliches ...

Japan will make anime about anything.
I'm a big fan of classic mysteries, and Milky Holmes grabbed me almost entirely out of morbid curiosity -- because really I'm not a big fan of the 'moe.' Overall it was cute, with enough sly literary references to keep me entertained. I'm not sure I'd own it on DVD, or even give it a second watch, but it was a nice little diversion and I don't feel as though my time was wasted.

    Stupid Stupid Stupid!
Have you ever read or watched a story in which there would be no plot if the main character(s) wasn't an absolute moron? If you have not nor want to, than I suggest you stay away from this show. Almost all the comedy is based around the stupidity of the main characters. The main villain is the only interesting person here. If you must watch this I recommend watching episode 3 or 7 as those are ...

Classic Detectives + Moe Crap=Just Plain Crap
I cannot tell you how disappointed this anime made me. When I heard it was coming out, I was seriously geeked and looking forward to it. Think about it: a who's who of great detectives and villains from mystery literature, including Holmes, Wolfe, Poirot, the original Arsene (the supposed grandfather of Lupin III), Twenty Faces... the list goes on and on, all set in a school in a world where ...

    I did not like this!
I expected it to be like this, but at least TRY TO ACT LIKE THE CHARACTER YOU'RE PLAYING. Seriously, especially Sherlock Holmes is suppose to be a great duductionist, not some moe and a magical girl...
