    Tesagure! Bukatsumono Review
This is the 3rd season of Tesagure! Bukatsumono, but you shouldn't worry if you haven't seen the first two seasons. This isn't a series with a strong plot to follow and is much more focused on comedy.

Its format is similar to Straight Title Robot Anime and gdgd Fairies, but starring high school girls. It's a computer animated show where episodes are split between scripted comedy (usually ...

    Beautiful Trash Butterfly
This show is a gem. Seriously. At first glance I thought it looked like trash. That was its appeal. On second glance, it looked like trash as well. Halfway through the first episode I thought it was self-aware meta-trash, (like Sweet Bro & Hella Jeff). The whole time there seemed to be a tone which implied that it was actually a parody, but not until the second episode started did this become my ...

Anime girls with a mind of their own
So what if you brought a few voice actresses together, had them ad-lib some loosely-defined comedy scenarios, and used motion-capture technology for computer-generated animation? That's Tesagure in a nutshell, and it works rather well, especially since the whole production is very aware of itself, from the actresses, to the visual artists, to the technicians and director. The series makes fun of ...

  • Tesagure! is improv joy
when i watch this i feel like a bunch of voice actors were all sat around a table and just had a conversation. the conversations feel very natural and sound like the kind of thing you expect to hear around a school lunchroom table. i feel that its hard to find something that feels this natural of a conversation, in fact it feels almost unnaturally natural. its almost like someone took a podcast ...

  • A Unique and Great Anime
I love this series for the following reasons:

I've been reading manga and watching anime for years, and this anime does a fine job of satirizing both.

The characters are cute, and (the voice actresses) have pretty voices. The drawing of the girls' body-language is very lively and arresting in addition to being very feminine.

There is a very realistic sense of a group of friends sitting ...

    Tesagure! Bukatsumono
I just want to add a few things to some of the reviews that are already here.

Episode One is kind of boring in the first half but the second part is really good.

As it was already mentioned the show has one part that is scripted and the second part of the show is all improv, which is really nice it makes me laugh like crazy.

The animation, which is 3D CGI is done on MikuMikuDance, and ...

    Tesagure! Bukatsumono Review
The fact that it's in 3D takes a bit of getting used to, and they certainly could have put more time into the movements, particularly of the hair.
But it's not a bad show, the parts I enjoyed the most were when the seiyu's talked out of character, it was rather amusing to see, and felt more like a radio broadcast.
If your looking for something different, then you might find this worth giving a ...

    Different but still good
Not the typical Animation idk what it is but it is kinda hard to get used to at first. And the sense of humor is different from what your used to but once you get used to that and the Animation style it's quite Hilarious and still has a lot of typical Anime jokes just told presented in a different way. I hope Crunchyroll can add the other seasons as I heard this is actually the 2nd or 3rd season.

    Random no talent anime
4 random japanese school girls babble randomly about anime tropes then animate it using low budget cgi. I'm having a hard time believing this has 3 seasons. Are the VAs idols or something? They're definitely not real VAs. Angry spirited gossip about everything they talk about.
