    Pantsu - the Animation
This show wants you to follow it down a rabbit hole of cringe comedy and dirty jokes. I'm not saying it's not hilarious, I'm just saying that this is not an anime about a manga artist and his assistants, it's an anime about one mans dream. Of pantsu.

Hiroyuki's Mangaka-san is the "The Ecchi Bakuman" - Kingfirejet's Reviews
This short series is based off the 100+ chapter manga, "Mangaka-san to Assistant-san." It is currently on its second season manga (Mangaka-san to Assistant-san 2).

Before watching, if you hate ecchi and expected a long compelling love story then this show won't meet those expectations.

Manic manga artist with his reluctant assistants.
I saw this one on the spring release list so I took the liberty of reading the manga and I was pleased to find it very easy to power through the entire series. I was afraid that the short non-linear plots would turn this into one of those 3 minute shorts, so I am pleased they decided to make it 12 minutes long!

Basically this entire series boils down to a die-hard panty otaku who is a creepy ...

    It's sort of interesting.
I prefer Monthly girl's Nozaki kun to this series. Both are a anime about a male drawing manga except that this one is a Perverted man who is lucky enough to have all female assistants.
I'm honestly kind of confused that all these girls have not quit their jobs ( except that one equally perverted girl). This is a show that will expect you to throw common sense and reason out the window for it's ...

    Laugh out loud ridonkulous!!!!!
Yeah.. As a woman I never realised that 'pantsu' and 'oppai' could be soooo funny! And the main character: If only real pervs were this hopelessly harmless...
Anime Supported Fact Alert: All short people have napoleon syndrome. How do I know? Every short person I have ever met will be annoyed that I wrote that ha! But seriously, I thought this was going to be a snoozefest, but the episodes are ...

A great anime and you should watch it.
If you enjoy a slice of life anime with a nice, overly emotional, otaku, manga writing, protagonist who loves pantsu, and four female charaters to bounce his weirdness off of, you will enjoy this show. This show also has sheep ton of awkward and hilarious moments that i think most anime-fans should see.

So just go ahead, watch and enjoy. Unless you already have in which case watch it ...

Really funny anime! For Pantsu lovers!
The Comic Artist and his assistants is a really nice work and show for people who like a little ecchi, tsundere, little naughty and rogue anime. The occurrences of Aito, who is a pervert, with all his beautiful assistants will make you laugh a lot. I can recommend it for people who like to laugh a lot and want to try a short anime. I hope there will be a second season!

massive potential hindered by major flaws
    Pros:
    - series among the 4 panel adaptations similar to Lucky Star and Azumanga Diaoh
    - pretty funny
    - boasts a little bit more of a plot and story compared to Lucky Star, Azumanga, etc.
    - perverted actions and retaliations are funny and just shy of cringe worthy, offering some good laughs without over stepping the boundaries and making the situations too uncomfortable
    - The main character is ...

    Slap stick funny show...
This show is really funny. The story line crawls though which is very typical of this sort of genre in anime. Every episode has made me laugh. I wish the were longer. Definitely worth adding to the queue! I'm not really into fan service types of shows, but his outright blatant perversion and the female reactions are pretty hysterical.

    Cute, but a little strange
This is a short and fun comedy about a insanely obsessive guy and the girls that seem to collect around him despite that. It is very lighthearted and there is a loose plot that develops a little in the background as the show moves on. Each character has their own individual quirks as well, which makes them all interact in interesting ways.

My major issues with this show (and why it didn't get a ...
