  • Very interesting whimsy!

    This show is a very unique experience. The art style is amazing and the story is rather cute with a very whimsical feel. I really wish there were more episodes as this series is very VERY short. I'd highly recommend this for everyone.

    I have a weakness for traveling stories (like Kino's Journey) where the character observes wonders and oddities and everything in between. These little vignettes - too short to properly call stories - have a similar flavor.     not necessarily for everyone

    I got about 8.5 minutes through this, which is a bit more than halfway, and turned it off. The animation is beautiful, of course, but the plot, if you could call it that, just meanders aimlessly, starting nowhere and getting nowhere in the end, and in the middle it's just a scattering of pretty images.     I think this anime is great, the animation is good and to my liking. The plot is good/decent. The characters are weird I like that in an anime. The overall anime is good. Only good because the rest of the episodes are for premium members only. For people who want to watch the rest of the episodes I reccomend a different website.

    Charming and Fantastic

    The Diary of Tortov Roddle is charming and very stylistic. The music is almost Miyazai-esk and the renderings are well done with a slight hint of sketchy marks. Over all I think this is a brilliantly charming animation. Great fantasy ideas and music go perfectly together and I love the fact that he rides a long-legged pig.

    somee might say odd, but its reallyy quirky and creative:D
    it almost has a tim burton twist to it, which i think iss uhhmazingg(:
    i almost wish there was more color, but i think the green hue gives it its own effect.
    it was a little bizarre but i liked it ^_^
    but as weird (in a good way) as it was, i understand the concept you were going for, but maybee make it a tippsyy bit more understandable
