  • Never thought that soccer anime would be so fun to watch!!
I read a few manga about soccer, except The Knight of Area. I always thought that it'll be difficult to do one with a lot of action and that the quality of the images-video will be damaged. Since I watched this soccer, my late opinion changed. A lot of action, nice quality of image. ONE OF THE BEST ANIME EVER!!!

Even if you're not a soccer fan like me, I'm sure that you'll love this anime.
    I ...

    The Knight in the Area
This anime wasn't anything I'd expected. There's a scene in there that made me cry and surprised me. Overall, the anime was pretty good. The storyline was interesting but I wouldn't say this anime is on top of my list. Music was so good, but not the best. Characters was amazing in there. The animation was pretty good, but like I said before, it isn't the best of all the animes I've watched. I ...

This could of been so much more ! One spoiler to take not of.
I am a very devoted football fan so when I saw this anime I had to give it ago, my exceptions weren't very high as I've never witness a real remember able sport anime. I started watching this with the hope that this could change. All I can say is the 1st couple of episodes had me going some serious stories were going off in my mind. The relationship between the two brothers could of gone any ...

Animation and action sequences are far less than great
    Pros:
    - Some interesting and entertaining moments

    Cons:
    - Poor art and animation. Art becomes somewhat better near the end.
    - Poorly implemented realistic approach or poorly implemented comedic approach. Hard to tell which it is.
    - Everyone is extremely focused on the main character to the point of ridiculousness
    - The narration/commentators are seemingly all soccer pros
    - Main ...

    Gotta Have Heart....
The Knights in the Area is a drama that uses soccer to keep the story progressing. This was a good thing for me as I am not much of a soccer fan. The story is centered around the middle school boy, Kakeru who must have the heart to become the "Knight in the Area", which is wish of his older brother. In a tragic turn of events Kakeru literally receives his older brother's heart and with it the ...

Area no Kishi/ The Knight in the Area
I read this on manga but I didn't know that it was an anime so I quickly searched it up and watched it!! I non-stop cried when Suguru died even though he is a anime character. I was talking to myself and said that "Go Seven show them your awesome skills show them what you got and kick their asses in soccer!!! and it was funny when Kota said that Nana/Seven is better than him!! Storyline is ...

    Just a Little Disgruntled
I enjoyed the anime itself, but as someone who has played soccer competitively for a while (10 years) as well as officiated national matches (8 years) I find the soccer displayed in this as annoying. It would literally take an essay to describe it all so I'll just leave it as "wrong" and "off". For an anime that says it explains soccer to those who don't understand it isn't explaining true soccer.
