But things are changing and things like Comic book reading and Manga are becoming a normal part of most people lives, so more and more people will begin to read them.
So to keep people from looking at them as out cast then they try not to act like they do not care about them as a way to try to look normal. It is crazy when you think about but that's how some people feel.
lol why doesn't Americans read more manga? Well the answer is so simple and dumb at the same time. Its not that they do not read them, its just that they prefer to do it in secrete.
when was that $8? Bet he bought it used!. I love comics, but quit reading when the price went over $1. But, does anyone know what House was reading Monday? Slam Dunk is awesome. Love all of Inoue's work!
@soulfringe isnt that basic bussiness to gain profit from what you bought and sell "tap it hard"
@NeoEnix lol thats your opinion lol but image does sell and i guess he isnt selling
American comics was my gateway drug. Also think about the real meaning behind the deal- You go in and trade $12 for $4 comic - they then resale the manga for $8, and possibly get you to buy next months edition.
I wonder if this will be frequent.
Will it be every week? Twice a week?
thx for the limited commercials, may all comercials be relevant and related to anime and it's community(university programs...)
those action figures are soo ecchi
dont hate on american comics =( that made me so sad when she tore it T.T manga and american comics are not enemies. and early manga was inspired by american comics
The manga for comic promo was no very serious. Tho the owner of the comic shop posted he hoped to have a manga sale from what he got to introduce new customers to manga.
while i do understand that trading in a $7 to $12 dollar Vol 1. manga for a $2 to $4 for one of the Action 51 #1(which is the actual prom a vol. 1 for an issue 1)is kind of a rip off, there was no need to dis american comics.
