Though I do think this episode makes a better ending than the ending in chronological order, the rest of the show doesn't make any sense if you watch it in broadcast order. So, I'll stick to chronological order, thank you :p
i can easily agree that the ending was 100% enthralling. compared to most series that include romance that always end with the first kiss this one makes me the most content with the series ending here but strangely makes me want more
So that's the first series of Haruhi. I love how cheerful Haruhi is with that monster smashing things up around her. I should've watched it when it came out.
I first watched this series in mostly chronological order. I have to say, although it made more sense overall that way, the show is much better in broadcast order. In chronological order, the show felt finished well before the last ep.
otayyy. weird voices. tell me that something isn't going on here. i know there is. I MAKE NO SENSE DO I? i know it. no need to be jealous of my weirdness. jk jk
I like how certain things that Kyon has to do involving Haruhi makes him realize something about himself, even Freudian things he likes to deny. Haruhi at least forces him to live his life and put a hold on his cynism here and there
Kyon telling Haruhi that her ponytail looks good is like Seiji running off and hugging Midori who was waiting at the same train station as always after he realized he couldn't live without her by his side not as a hand but a girlfriend.
That was an interesting episode. :3 It felt a lot more climactic than episode 9, I can't imagine watching this in chronological order now... LMAO at Kyon's ponytail moe. xD
