Haha. I agree lookforthelight79. Huey just grabs something inside of Dalian's chest and somehow knows exactly what to do. Kinda strange. But maybe it was instinct? Anyways, so far, so good. I'll continue watching.

A peculiar show, but I like it so far. It makes me wonder if I could ever be a legitimate reader....? Though, it's pretty hardcore to take on a knife-thrower, lion and dragon with a revolver and then do an epic reading of a book.

Well, in terms of Huey accepting things too easily, he does state "It appears that I don't have time to be skeptical." and he had to take over the responsibilities for the Dantalian no Shoka. He had no real choice in the matter lol.

@16:50 I never seen, what I assume is a Webley revolver, that used bottleneck rifle cartridges. I'd have thought they would have some sort of arms expert to consult with via the internet on these things... Google would be a good start...

Yes, I too will say it's kind of like Gosick. But really only the characters. I get a Puelli Magi feel from the ending. I also thought it is a bit like Zatch Bell and maybe Rozen Maiden. Looking good.

Very nice beginning. A ton of exposition throughout the episode- I'd rather have let the action lead but not a a bad start overall.
