    It's Cute, Heartwarming, and Funny!
The Nameko Families is a typical Slice of Life show, but all of the characters are mushrooms. At first, this sounds weird, but it's actually a pretty cute premise.

There is little to no voice acting outside of grunts, crying, and other sound effects. You'd think that'd be a con, but it's actually a pretty good idea. It means you make your own interpretations about the family and see if you're ...

A show about anthropomorphic mushrooms? What could be bad about that?
The Nameko Families is a show about, you guessed it, Nameko mushrooms. The shows are about 5 minutes long, if even, and feature no voice acting. Each episode features a short story that is up for interpretation, but generally aims to have you take something away from it (love yourself, be nice to others, don't worry what others think, etc etc).

    Good Mushrooms 10/10
This anime is pure, adorable, sweet, heart-wrenching, and will make you fall in love with all the good mushrooms characters again and again. Without any speech, it's able to flawlessly convey emotions that even my ice-cold heart can feel. Though it advocates cannibalism, I still can't choose which one I love more. (Probably the one with the glasses).

  • Sweet show is sweet!
This 3-episode series is a heart warming tale about a family of fungi and their everyday lives in a small town. The series is far too short, but there's a vast amount of character development in these three episodes.

Pros: You can watch this series in just one sitting. The animation is adorable. Every commercial break is an I-Spy game. The story is G-rated.

Cons: You can watch this series ...

    Daily Lives of a Family
Except that the characters are not humans, this is a typical daily life kind of anime. Some things happen to some or all members of the families in school, on trip, and etc., and some issues are resolved peacefully. Something interesting is an activity of finding a white thing in each episode and makes this anime a little fun.
