Episode 1 - The Tower of Gilgamesh

Six months has passed from the conquering of Druaga. King Gilgamesh had taken all the credit, and the former climbers who knew the truth were wasting their days away. Jil, who is unable to recover from the shock of Neeba and Kaaya disappearing in the “Mythical Tower,” is reclusing himself in his room at the inn he is freeloading at. Fatina is working as a tour guide, and is watching over him sometimes with patience, sometimes with severity. One day, the two encounter a little girl who is being pursued by the army.

Episode 2 - Capital City Meskia

The mysterious girl identifies herself as Ki: she has the same name as the priestess of Ishitar, the late wife of King Gilgamesh. Ki tells Jil and the others that she can take them to the ‘Mythical Tower’. Jil believes this and starts to prepare for the journey, upsetting Fatina. Just then, Uragon, commander of the Golden Knights, who is after Ki appears before them. Uragon is determined to capture Ki, and will stop at nothing. It seems that there is no way Jil and his allies will be able to escape from the encirclement.

Episode 3 - City of Dreams: Meltland

Jil and his gang go to the Shrine of Emery, and find that their former comrade Melt has become a millionaire, after his success at managing a ski resort. Now being a wealthy man, Melt puts his connections with the army above his friendship with old party-mates and hands over Jil, Ki, and the gang to Uragon, and the gang is subsequently incarcerated. Meanwhile, the Ropers who are being exploited by Melt are planning an escape in the backyard of the resort. An avalanche occurs, and the escape of the Ropers begins...

Episode 4 - Into the Phantasm

Jil, Ki, and the gang arrive at the Shrine of Sky. The Golden Knights, as well as Melt and Coopa, who are all after Jil’s gang, arrive shortly after and also enter the shrine. Inside, the evil god Druaga awaits them. Jil and the others engage in a battle with Druaga once again. In the midst of the fighting, Ki suddenly takes the form of an adult, and reveals to Jil all of the mysteries: Kaaya’s wish, and why Jil had been betrayed. What is the connection between Kaaya and Ki? The story moves on the Mythical Tower...

Episode 5 - The Land of Shadows

At the top of the Mythical Tower resides the shadow of King Gilgamesh, and it is affecting the real Gilgamesh. Neeba and Kaaya are climbing toward the top of the tower in order to take the shadow down. In their pursuit, Jil and his gang enter a floor with a yellow sky, a terrifying place where monsters that are the shadows of children attack anyone who enters one after another. Jil and the gang are cornered...

Episode 6 - The Four Assassins

On the Floor of the Rainforest, Jil is targeted by an assassin working for Gremica. Then, two more assassins appear. Meanwhile, Neeba and Kaaya are churning their way through the Floor of the Lake. In their conversation, Kaaya advocates the graciousness of God, but Neeba replies with frustration that God is capricious. These two are also attacked by two assassins. The four assassins are droids with the spirits of the four knights that used to guard Druaga. Neeba speculates that they come from the caskets that Pazuz had been carrying. The ones attacking Jil are Mite and Specula. Jil, along with Fatina, Utu, and Henaro, struggle to put up a fight. The ones attacking Neeba are Blood and Ice. Neeba is cornered, when Kaaya casts a powerful spell.

Episode 7 - The Chateau of Everlasting Spring

Jil and his gang reach the next floor, and run into Melt and Coopa. A grandiose mansion appears before them, where Ahmey, who was supposed to be dead, is awaiting them. Kally also appears. Jil is happy to meet his old friends, but at the same time is bewildered. In exchange for their delight in meeting old comrades, the gang gradually looses their eagerness to proceed. Then, Specula, Blood, and Ice launch an assault on them.

Episode 8 - Their Past

Jil and his gang proceed through the Floor of the Dried-up Lake. They arrive at a giant grave of a dragon scattered with its skeletal remains, where Neeba and the injured Kaaya had been taking a rest. Jil inadvertently becomes a decoy to attract Specula, when he reunites with Neeba. Specula is still on their pursuit, and Gremica, Neeba’s archery master, also arrives. Neeba is forced to come to terms with his past; his complicated relation between his half brother Jil, and his breakaway from Gremica who had been his mentor; which drives him toward a certain future...

Episode 9 - At the End of the Dream

When Jil returns, he finds that Fatina and the rest of his gang had been attacked. At the Grave of the Dragon, Jil’s party, Gremica’s party, Uragon, and Mite meet to figure out their situation, and confirm their purpose for climbing the tower. Just then, the Mythical Tower begins to undergo yet another change. Meanwhile, Ethana starts a riot in the city of Meskia. And on the top floor of the tower, Kaaya faces off with the shadow of King Gilgamesh.

Episode 10 - Last Resort

Ki reaches the top of the tower along with her captors: Succubus and Neeba. Meanwhile, Jil and his comrades are only one level behind. Yet at the top of the tower awaits the shadow of the King of Gilgamesh, whose power has increased. Now it's up to Neeba and Jil to stop the dark shadow of the king.

Episode 11 - Slayer of God
