    Completely Different
For those of you who have read the manga, this adaptation completely foregoes all of the beginning stuff including how characters met up and skips straight to the occupation of the Diet (until episode 2). There's a lot of blood in places I don't remember it being that graphic either.

Starting from the second episode, this show actually goes back to the beginning of the story (AKA the beginning ...

    Tokyo ESP Final Impressions
This was originally a recap on the finale (containing spoilers!) as well as the following final impressions. For the full review with screenshots visit:http://konseptual.com/2014/10/tokyo-esp-episode-12-finale/

Tokyo ESP is a bland superhero anime. Based on an on-going manga (at the time this was written) It seems to have drawn major inspiration from American-style comic ...

Confused Watcher. Plot is pretty awful.
There are spoiler here. Me fuming because this show tricked me into watching episodes in hope of understanding the villain logic/plot. Which is either nonexistent or straight trash.

I forced myself to make it to episode 9. It is insanely hard to get me to drop a show after I've watched so far but the plot just doesn't make sense. I literally only made it this far because I wanted to know what ...

Better than the reviews would make you think
I'm surprised at the low reviews here. This is a very strong, well animated series about a girl who gains super powers through a mysterious flying fish, and how she deals with a race of espers that plan to take over tokyo to revenge past wrongs. I fell in love from episode one and never stopped watching; White Girl is a wonderful heroine, legitimately strong yet who also earns that strength ...

    Entertaining, But Not Really Great
Although the story was entertaining, it was done in the more "blockbuster" style of things. It felt like the story was created only to get views and bring in money. The characters were among the flattest i have seen, with little to no emotional or psychological development through the series. On top of that there were many plot holes and inconsistencies within the world that they developed.
    In ...

  • Wasn't Real Impressed.
Lots of cliques in the story and the characters like this...a few espers are bad then of course naturally all of them are bad amongst others. They fell in love with flashbacks the music wasn't very good entirely too much gratuitous bloody violence lots of body parts flying around did have some teaser fan service but the T.V.Mature rating was for the violence. Will admit that a lot of the powers ...

Very Bland, Just Watch Something Else...
I quickly felt like Tokyo ESP copied other superhero animes.
This anime is unique in its own ways; from flying penguins and fishes all the way to a talking panda, but not much else.
The album art acutely makes this anime look more interesting than it really is to be completely honest.
The main character is a girl with white hair that trains herself with the help of others in martial ...

    This was awful. Plz no
First episode was pretty good. Things go to absolute hell for seemingly no reason and then the rest of the series is the plot building up to what happens in the first episode. I dont particularly like stories like that, but whatever.

After the first episode however...sigh. You have a girl, who even without her ESP power to phase through objects is seemingly already super powered. Her power only ...

  • A fun and Enjoyable show
Anyone who is a fan of the manga will enjoy this show, but for anyone else the show may be a little confusing and off putting but either way i say everyone should give it a chance if you've never read the manga give this a try and if you like the concept give the manga a try. and i can't forget to mention how good the soundtrack is on this anime it may be one of the best things about it.

  • Looking forward to how far this will go
Ep 01 starts off in the present day, which is actually the future, a lot has gone on, and not explaining much, it looks to be a war between Hero's/Villains, all with different powers. The ep has bad guys taking over everything, and not to many hero's around to defend, which I hope, will be explained as the story goes forth. The battle suddenly freezes, when this girl named The White Girl shows up ...
