  • A great short-length show with a lot of heart and humor
How this show managed to make me feel so strongly for inanimate objects, I will never understand. I found myself never knowing which human to root for, but always knowing which toys to root for. The simple style lends itself well to the stories they tell. This show is a joyous watch from start to finish, so give it a try.

    Viewing time well spent
A great little show, consisting of quick 6 minute set pieces. Some of the funniest, actual laugh out loud anime out there, and absolutely worth your time to try one or two to see if it hits with you. Don't let the idea of apparently obscure Japanese games and customs scare you off either, the show's take on stuff like Shogi and Go require no cultural knowledge.

  • Simple & Satisfying!
This was a quick anime, each episode about 7 minutes long. The basis was very simple, but I absolutely loved it. Each episode had me laughing, and I found myself unable to stop watching. Definitely an anime you can watch to pass the time, and enjoy the whole way. <3

  • Funny and short. Don't binge on this.
This is a good anime to watch to fill a couple of minutes with humor. I personally think this anime was meant to be watched weekly. If you binge on it, it'll get boring fast, and the humor will start to get stale quickly. Keep the humor fresh by watching only a few episodes weekly.

  • One of the most funniest anime I've watched
Tonari no Seki-kun is so funny how Seki hardly, no, NEVER gets in trouble while Yokoi gets in trouble for saying things out loud. At first, this was nothing and scrolled past it, but when I watched it, I laughed my ass off! It's how he makes a simple game of chess into an show! I wonder how nobody ever notices it

  • Tonari no Seki-kun: A fun time
Tonari n Seki-kun is an episodic anime revolving around what the male lead (Seki-kun) has decided to kill time with, and how the female lead (Rumi) reacts to to it.Now Seki-kun wastes time by playing games with a different twist on them every episode. What Seki-kun is doing is explained through Rumi's perspective and her imagination,as throughout the entire anime Seki-kun never says a word.Yet what ...

  • short and sweet comedy gold
you remember those long, boring classes in school, right? the ones where the teacher drones on and on and that hour seems to last forever? well, imagine that's you on the left in the title image. because it is certainly how you'll feel when you see what antics Seki gets up to in these slice-of-life comedy shorts.

  • The master of killing time, is a good way to spend time
I have to say I am getting to rather enjoy short (<10 min) episodes.

The story is simple enough, but entertaining, Rumi is distracted by Seki's antics for killing time at his desk during class. She tries to pay attention in class but is inevitably drawn to see what Seki is doing. That being said, every episode is unique in it's own way.

At 7 minutes per episode, you can watch the who ...

  • I'd say, Master of Distraction :D
Awesome anime, too bad is only seven minutes long; five if you take out the intro and ending songs.
Is concise and entertaining, every episode is clever, simple and chaotic in their own particular way.
Seki-kun will do thing that seems on a first glance only for his own pleasure; from there the title. But as the episodes advance you will notice that his work is the art to distract his nearest ...

  • This is an awesome anime
Simple straight to the point and no complicated plot. For 7 minutes an episode, you cannot beat it. The shogi episodes are definitely my favorite. For people who don't watch anime normally, this is a perfect one to start with. It can get suspenseful and when you least expect it... it was for nothing at all.
