  • Awesome series a must watch
The show follows a great story line and does have some filler but those are great for the character build and the story is compelling it gives you a reason to want to come back and keep watching. One of the best parts is how you might start to wish some of these foods were real hahaha!

  • Read the dang manga!
This show is probably the biggest victim of the Japanese airing time slot. Needless Censorship across the bored, yeah it looks nice for the most part but the show was toned down so far, it is a disgrace. It was soo bad they stopped the show not even half way through the manga. Because of this they pulled a lot of stuff out from no where. If I had know this didn't have a manga version this would be ...

  • ITADAKIMAS! Surprisingly Great
I started to watch Toriko out of boredom because of its One Piece collab episode. What started off as casual watching (not gonna lie, it was a tad difficult to take seriously at first), eventually led to binge watching. For a shonen series, Toriko is refreshing and original.

Like DBZ and One Piece, it still takes longer than necessary for some of the fights. Also like DBZ and One Piece, you ...

  • Ok I was skeptical but....
So this anime officially rocked my socks off. The premise sounds like a bad acid trip but when you get to watching the actual show it has got to be one of the most entertaining shonens ever. In fact this is probably the only anime that I've loved so much that I went back and read the manga for instead of the other way around. The only complaint I have about the entirety of the series is the ...

  • One of my all time favorites
    Amazing.
    I love it.
    Dragon ball but food based.
Somewhat cheesy but it works with the story,
I really hope they produce the second arc of this. I want to see what happens
You get to watch the characters learn and grow, and deal with all things food. Plus some social teams tossed in.

    Absolutely amazing!!
This show is fantastic!! I don't understand how it isn't super popular. It's a show that I'd put on the level of One Piece. The story line is amazing and the building of the characters is fantastic. I would recommend the show to anyone who likes comedy, action, and a great time.

    GUTS GUTS GUTS TORIKO!
I absolutely love this series! I really wish they would have made the anime longer. If you're a fan of DBZ or One Piece, and you love food, you'll love this! This is seriously one of my favourites, tbh. It's kinda like Hunter x Hunter and DBZ had a baby. I honestly don't see how it wasn't more popular. I highly recommend watching this.

  • Toriko - A Hungry Review
While ultimately fun, it isn't quite the faithful adaption I was hoping for.

Toriko is your typical shounen anime with big fights and power ups. It's message is pretty much the same as all other shounen anime. The ultimate message is care for yourself and your friends and respect the world around you. Toriko and his 3 brothers, Coco Sunny and Zebra, travel throughout the world in search of new ...

    Toriko and Koumatsu.
Toriko starts off as a light-hearted superhuman shounen series where the main character, Toriko, and his friend Koumatsu set off on an adventure to discover the world's bounties and eat to their hearts' content. The theme song is fun and heroic that is full of energy and reminiscent of many popular shounen from the 80's and 90's. As a series, it holds to the constant idea of wandering around the ...
