    I think setting with a majority of the episodes toward conflicts between countries may have been its downfall if no additional seasons are made. They should have stuck with the main plot line the way the series began. Overall it wasn't bad.

    Este anime ha sido de lo peor que he visto en mucho tiempo, historia inconsistente, animacion y dibujo pobre y lo peor de todo es la calidad mediocre de la personalidad de los personajes. Hay demasiadas cosas absurdas.
    Si no tienes nada mejor que hacer, aun asi, no lo veas o perderas tu tiempo.

    Poor story, mediocre design and art, horrible CG, terrible stereotypical characters, inconsistent thrown together style, and horrendously erratic tone. And that's just the first three episodes. I've really only seen a couple of animes worse than this, and I've been watching the stuff for 30 years.     Even the Japanese otaku fled from this thing, and with good reason. It starts out as though it's going to be a fantastic series with mechs, aliens, drama, action and intense moments. It has the hallmarks of everything that makes an anime great.

    First the BETA are very original and ugly. Second the background story like the First Lunar Surface War was great, that gives us how the first encounter with the BETA was. In general is a great anime about well another war that humanity is losing because our primitive tecnology.

    Okay, summary of story first. Humanity is losing the war against aliens invading and tearing a hole in humanity's a**hole (all of Europe, decimated), people are fighting them with mechas because they have overpowered anti-aircraft snipers, and these things brutally eat everything in their path with all sizes of forces, even Godzilla size aliens!     smooth start with a rocky finish

    The show starts strong but quickly changes. The characters seem to have inconsistent personalities and many of the plot twists felt thought out only half way. It had a great premise for it to run on but never lived up to its potential. There are many issues that are never resolved, which would normally hint towards a second season, but this feels more like poor planning more than anything else.

    Not much to say about this anime, except that what I've provided as the title. The animation is lovely, carefully executed with flowing line and forms, the spatter patterns from the blood even look like the real thing. But, it is rather gory, so if you have a weak constitution, it's best not to watch.

    I expected nothing much from this anime until I watched the first two episodes and was like "WHAT!? Holy shit, t-that was fucking epic.." Not to mention the soundtrack hitting me like an unsuspecting oncoming train, It's opening and outro were f^cking amazing.
