    Fairly Typical, but artistically striking
The premise isn't anything we haven't seen before, and I'm not a fan of featuring overly young characters facing mortal peril, but despite these very snap judgments, this anime managed to hold my interest throughout the first episode. The world jumping is handled in a very stylish way and the deliberate style shifting right before a character uses a special attack just drips with artistic flare ...

    A lot of wasted potential
It's not the generic shounen manga setting that bothers me. It's not the rehashed trope of teenagers blowing stuff up while in so called mortal peril, even though their plot armor is thicker than the soviet IS-4 tank's steel plating, either.

What ultimately sets me off is how mediocre the execution is, as an anime. Not having read any of the manga, I'm not one to judge how the work is as a ...

Great anime if your new to the genre. Not so great for vets.
Here is where the rubber meets the road. This is so formulaic its kind of nauseating to people like me who have been watching anime since the early 90's. I am not speaking for all veterans of anime of course, but its been a common complaint among my circle.

Typical characters and arcs as well as "shipping wars" among fans made me look away. Even still, I hung out until the end of the last big ...

I ruined this show for myself
Currently viewed 10 episodes at the time of writing this review...

When I first started to watch this show I remember thinking just how cliched it was... yet I still watched it regularly, before I knew it it was a show I looked forward to it every week. Cliched shows are only cliched because they have a popular style which appeals to viewers again and again right? I mean, thats the reason why ...

New Shonen Jump Anime in Crunchyroll
This is a good start for this anime. If your a fan of Noragami and Blue Exorcist anime i recommend this anime for all of you who like exorcism animes with action and adventure. This animes has recently started so far it's a good adaptation to the original manga chapters.

Great characters with Great Powers, but Slow Story
To begin, even though I rated this 5 stars, I am actually rating it a 4.5, but that's not possible with the click the star rating system so I rounded up.

Now, it has been awhile since any show has had me as stoked as Twin Star Exorcists. Not since The Irregular at Magic High School and Sword Art Online have I been invested in characters the way I am now. I am getting up early every Wednesday ...

    Finally an anime adaption!
I absolutely loved the manga & I'm glad that it's finally getting an anime adaption. This is one of the few new anime that I actually like (at least from the manga). There are lots of character development & more badass characters will be introduced later on. I'm a bit disappointed with some low ratings when its only just the first episode.

Deserves a Second Chance Right As You're About To Give Up!!!!
I was really feeling this show at the beginning, then midway (ep. 8-11ish) I was not too sure to be honest, but I stuck with it, cause, well, why not? Still had potential. Plus someone had mentioned it was going to get 50 or so episodes, so I figured it was slow because the show is being set up.

Well I'm glad I stuck with it, the latest episode was AMAZING.

Here's the thing, the episodes ...

Ship was sinking then a miracle of a whale sacrificed itself to save the show
Over the course of the first 5 episodes I thought was extremely stereotypical with the main character being a hot headed, immature, OP, loud, Naruto/Natsu cutout. Turns out he eventually grows out of his 14 year old shell and takes on the responsibility of becoming a young adult trying to save the world from Kegare (demons). The female protagonist also impressively evolved throughout the show. Her ...

The more you watch, the better it gets.
I would disregard reviews from a few months back. This anime gets better and better the more you watch. Seriously, it is a good watch. Art, story, action, and characters are all very well done to me. However, if you merely watch only one or two episodes, you won't give it enough time to flesh out each character. Give it a chance.
