Usagi Drop reminds us that the heart is reached through tackling real issues
Regardless of the anime or manga that we like, we rarely seem to find ourselves, as viewers and readers, face to face with serious social issues. For the most part, a lot of the anime and manga out there are as far from dealing with the real world as possible, and that's fine. Many, if not most of us, watch shows or read books to escape our world and live vicariously through others. Usagi ...

  • Adorable heartfelt anime
This series will resonate with more adult viewers, although I'm sure some young viewers will also find it to be enjoyable. The soft tone of the art style works well to convey the innocence of the story as well as draw you into the lives of these characters. The child voice actors also did an excellent job of portraying the young characters. This is one slice-of-life anime that you should not pass ...

  • Touching and heart-warming!
I saw a review of this anime a while back and it hooked me right away.
The story might not be for everyone and it might also strike fear into youth who's scared of having kids, since this anime even shows the downside of being a parent. Specially being a single parent.

But for me, I found this anime so touching and so heart-warming. I have no problem with kids, even tough they might scream and ...

Do yourself a favor and watch it!
I went into this one blind, as it was a suggested watch by a buddy in a little anime club we've got going. I saw the first 10 minutes and I'm already thinking "Okay I see where this is going."

But rather than the cryfest I was expecting this is actually a really fun and heartwarming little comedy. I loved it! The main character is someone easy to relate to, and easy to root for. The little girl ...

    Anime grew up on me.
I stopped watching anime a few years back because I felt it was all sort of nonsense. Coming back to shows like this I feel like it's better than ever. A short, simple, and absolutely adorable show that everyone should watch. Get your tissues ready, because you'll probably cry with every cute moment this show has to offer. A very sensitive show that showed me that anime can tackle more serious ...

  • Very lighthearted and warm
I love this anime. What I really like is the theme song, I could sit and watch the opening every time I watched a new episode just because I liked it so much.

It really brings up the struggles I think a parent would have raising a child (even though I personally don't have any experience of that). The characters are adorable and unique in their own way. I love that Daikichi sometimes questions ...

  • Here Is To The Show That Will Touch Your Heart
When people rant and rave about titles, I have three reactions. Reaction one is that I'll jump on the series right away. Reaction two is that I'll be a little suspicious but try it anyway. Finally, reaction three is that I'll steer completely clear from the show for my own sanity.

For this show, I believe that I was between the first and second reaction. I was definitely a little suspicious of ...

A favorite that I recommend to all no matter what kind of anime you like!
I never write reviews for anime series but I feel like I had to for this anime. This series was light hearted and touching. It never failed to put a smile on my face. It had great character development as well. I 100% percent recommend this series even to those who may not be a fan of slice of life/cute animes. This anime is definitely worth it!

  • The Joys of Parenthood
Daikichi can't help but wonder if he's raising Rin or if Rin is raising him. This anime is possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen. I had heard a lot of positive things about the manga that this is adapted from so when I saw the anime only had only 11 episodes I had to check it out in honor of Father's Day. Usagi Drop has a lot of heart and each character reflects that. I instantly fell in love ...
