  • The #1 anime of all time
I won't go on and parrot what other people have already said. I'm namely doing this just to leave another 5 star review for this anime. In my opinion this would easily be a top contender for the anime to represent all anime as an art form, even though it's quite... different than most others. It's a realistic approach telling a very believable story of something that's probably happened in reality ...

  • Calm, Cute, and Loveable. NOT FOR LOLICONS
Just gonna get this outta of the way: I don't like the intro and skip it every time.

The best feature of this series is the genuine nature of the characters. There are very few stereotypes and the interactions of the characters feel very heartfelt and real, so keep that in mind before getting involved.

This is the refreshing story of a man who willingly chooses to become responsible for a ...

  • Heart warming story and family friendly.
I've never been a fan of slice of life style anime or drama heavy anime, but this show has opened two genres up for me to explore. I'ts hard to find family friendly anime when raising children, so I was glad to find this. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

  • Excellent blend of humor and serious issues
The show deals with serious issues, but in a very stylized way that focuses on the positive. The art, the music, and the story all work together to create a positive atmosphere that draws you completely into the story. Even though the story is presented in a very light way, the characters really come to life. It's considered "josei", but it seems to me very much from a man's perspective - although ...

  • Super Slice of Life!
This one is an absolute tearjerker for me...
I watched it one day when I was sick in bed...
and ended up watching the entire series over a matter of days...
I will admit the drawing style took me a bit to get used to... but once u get into it... at least, i realized it perfectly suits the anime.

  • Adorable. Realistic. Beautiful.
This is the cutest show I have ever seen. I feel as though I've spontaneously sprouted ovaries and they are tingling furiously. The show tackles something that is never shown in any anime, and that is raising a child. There are so many issues and so many problems that you are faced with as a parent/guardian. This shows the priority and lifestyle changes you need to go through and the sacrifices ...

usagi drop is the touching story about a man who decides to be the guardian of a parentless young girl. it explores many subjects regarding being a young single parent and the challenges of raising a kid on his own. there are moments of sadness, happiness, hope, and humor. the relationship development between Rin and Daikichi is special because while Daikichi is raising Rin, she is also indirectly ...

  • Usagi Drop: I wasn't crying I...I was just sweating
How can I begin to explain this show.Technically the plot is just "guy adopts and raises girl no one else wants to care for".Yet Usagi Drop is so much more than that,it deals with the very relationship of child and parent. This in turn makes for quite an emotional, and completely adorable, the best part is the characters themselves are more than enough to run the show.Everything else is just kind ...

  • A Heartwarming, Adorable, and Funny good time
Usagi Drop (or Bunny Drop) is, in my opinion, one of the greatest comedy-drama slice of life anime ever made. The characters feel real and the animation is simple but beautiful. One of the best aspects of Usagi Drop is the character personality and the actors do an amazing job bringing the story to life. The only minor complaint I have is the fact that they could have covered the whole series. The ...

  • Such a heart warming anime that really hits home.
When you can actually sit down and make some time to watch this anime, really appreciate the story that unfolds, it really starts to hit you. Usagi drop has to be one of my most appreciated anime's I have ever watched. A beautiful story about real life, real struggles, and the day to day grind we all must endure.

A child born and raised into an abnormal situation (Rin), in an instant she is ...
