  • Definitely tugs at your heart string
It is a very heartwarming story. It shows how a child can change a person's life for better or worse. The kid's character is so cute, that whether you are male or female, you are bound to fall in love with her. The guardian also shows numerous heartwarming scenes. Overall, I would definitely recommend this anime (though I would not finish the manga version).

  • You will fall in love with this heartwarming show
Love love love this show. I am so happy that crunchyroll was able to add it back to their line up. The art style is gorgeous, the story line is fun and heartwarming. The characters are believable and totally lovable. Just all around wonderful.
Bottom line this show is well worth your time. Go watch it. Go on... you won't regret it

  • there are more episodes
I'm writing a review mostly to give this 5 stars but also to inform the uninformed. There are other episodes, I'm going to watch them now so I don't know much about them but they are out there. Wikipedia has a list that you can use, it is at the bottom as bonus episodes.

  • Really hits the heart
This show is really more about a story that touches your heart rather then over the top drama, action or romance. By the end of almost every episode you find yourself relating to at least one of the many emotions going on, and they are all very real. Gotta say this is one of my top favorites and that is saying a lot.

    A different kind of show
Usagi Drop is unlike many shows I've watched in the past. The best word to describe it is simple. There are no aliens, ghosts, or giant death robots. Instead, there is Daikichi and Rin.

A simple story of a single man who takes it upon himself to raise the illegitimate daughter of his late grandfather (yes, Rin is technically Daikichi's aunt), Usagi Drop manages to entertain without relying on ...

Tough to find anything more real than this
I'll be brief. Usagi Drop never tries to go for super dramatic confessions or over the top plot twists. It's just a guy facing all of the very real challenges of parenthood. It's incredibly normal, yet it still manages to touch your heart.

Also, did I mention Rin is probably the best anime child in existence? Well she is. Seriously, I can't even hate kids anymore. Freaking watch this ...

    Usagi Drop: Is it Good?
Just from a simple look at the anime community will show the extreme dominance of a particular genre in anime. That genre is the Shonen genre. Because of that, we rarely see shows that don't include aspects of shonen manga in the plot and characters. Usagi Drop is one of the very few exceptions. Not only is the show different then many standard anime today, but it delivers an experience that ...

  • Very Heartwarming <3
I really enjoyed this little anime. I wish it had gone until the full extent like the manga did (which I will be reading very soon). The drawings/motions of the anime made it look quite different and you could definitely distinguish the style between others. If you're looking to laugh and be touched, this is definitely the anime for you.

  • A gem! A must much for anyone.
I happened to stumble upon this series when I first bought the membership for CrunchyRoll. I'm glad I was able to complete it before it was removed from the site. I will be purchasing this series whenever it's released in America.

  • Touching and family friendly
I never realize that hardship of a single parent. A sad and lonely girl who everyone despised suddenly turns cheery and slowly changes his life. There's even romance sparking with another single mom who helps him. Everything was awesome till i heard about the manga... Still i wont let those emotions break my judgement. This was a good anime! I always thought that he gets married to that single mom ...
