I guess we can call this a LOVE poem. Yeah, here's a random LOVE poem I wrote at 4:35 am. I couldn't sleep.
The cold breeze chills my cheek.
A tear falls upon the ground.
The loneliness empties my soul.
What am I to do but sit behind the shadow of this tree.
For there is no reason to be in existence,
When my heart is broken.
I lay my back against the tree and close me eyes.
Only seeing the shine of the sun against my eyelids.
But, a moment before I fall into the deepest slumber.
The shine of the sun withers away.
I open my eyes and see a figure standing in front of me.
A hand held out to me.
Yet I only notice the smile that glimmered with its gentle eyes.
I blink my eyes, at the thought of seeing an angel.
I take its hand and rise from the seat.
It was then that I knew.
The angel that helped me get up from the shadow of the tree...
From the sorrow binding me down...
Was YOU.
